I believe that to be true. Everything is not for everyone. I would say evaluate where you are and what you are looking for and then go from there.
Thus far I have had nothing but good results. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones. I have not tried the 'eat when I am hungry/eat til I am full' approach. I eat once per day most days and on occasion I will eat a hearty breakfast after going to the gym. If I ate when I was hungry it would be like, maybe every 36-48 hours. I did a 48 hour fast and was not the least bit hungry at 48 hours. This comes from a dude pushing 306 pounds and ate pretty much every time I went by the refrigerator.
Were you straight carnivore? did you cheat? did you modify? I would say find the one that works for you and go that route.
    Best of luck.

I was healthy to began with so body recomposition was my goal. The idea was to lose the bodyfat without being hungry. I would be a Carnivreo (for the reast of my life) if this diet helps me to achieve those goals. I dont look at a diet as a Religion! What it is the point to spend my whole life eating only meats and eggs, if i cannot lose the bodyfat i need, without being hungry? I also have not expereinced many of the suppoesed "Carnivore benfits" What lead met to wonder,  how long should it take someone  to be able to acesse if this way of eating actually works? Because after 8 months, what i have expereince so far is very similar results people often see in other diets. So why shoud i have an irrational/emotional and or religious apporach to diet?(What do i have to gain to look at the Carnivore diet, as it was the salvation of my life, when i am already healthy and have not lost any bodyfat in more than 4 months?)
You cannot say that This is the most optimal way of eating.(There are NO Studies on the topic to validate that Claim.)That is not a fact that is an biases opinan. In fact, most of the healthy and fit people do not follow a Carnivore diet.
If you have nothing of valure to say or any adivice to how to ajust the carnviore diet to lose bodyfat, just dont respond the post. Carnviores often act like the VEgan that they so much complain about it. Dont need to be on your feelings just because i dont worship eating meat.

1 - "As long as you want. Beef and eggs are some of the most nutrient dense foods you can put in your body. You can live on meat alone, OR eat a carnivore-centric/meat-based diet that incorporates some more variety from the plant kingdom if you choose, whether that's ketovore, keto, or animal-based."
I ask this question to understand how long one should follow this diet and this way of eating, so that I can make an objective assessment of the effectiveness of the Carnivora diet, aiming to lose body fat and control hunger.
I don't understand your answer since you didn't share a period of time in which it would be appropriate to be on a Canirvore diet, before making judgment about it.

I am not over 5 months eating a Carnivore diet. The only thing that i felt was some heart palpitations after the initial 6 weeks and only went to the bathroom 2-3 a week. Eating more fat will help but no tfix any problem. This diet is not magical. It my experience, it is just a way ot restricnting caloires with the most satitaing food - meat.
Good luck , you are not the only one who struggles with this way of eating.
If it continues, sick a doctor

Andre got a reaction from Bob in The meat and fruit diet: Does it work?
It makes more sense when you are healthy and active. Most people are sedentary and will likely gain body fat. However, if you go to the gym and move, you can get better results. There are many people who have benefited from eating fruit or some type of carbohydrate. People here look at carbohydrates as if they were the devil... It doesn't make sense for me to look at Diet as if it were a religion or a macronutrient with moral judgment... This is the Bullshit Vegans do!

Andre got a reaction from Sherry in 100 days on a Strick Carnivore Diet
I am now 100 days in a Strick Carnivore diet(I only eat meats and eggs. Nothing more) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a healthy guy with no chronic illness or healthy problems.
I lost about 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 6 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements)
I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition.
So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores:
1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess weight I still have?
2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?
    Thank you for your attention
    Good luck to everyone

It can be. A proper human diet is a low carbohydrate, meat-based diet that generally ranges from zero to 100 carbs per day. It does not necessarily have to be 100% carnivore. If you cut out processed food and stick to natural meats, dairy, fruit, and vegetables and avoid processed food, you will likely thrive. However,  staying on the carnivore or ketogenic end of this spectrum (less than 20 carbs daily) is recommended if you are not a healthy person. Cutting out the carbs and the plant toxins can help lose weight, reduce blood pressure, reverse diabetes, and eliminate certain auto-immune and chronic conditions. But if you don't suffer from any of those things then you don't necessarily have to be so strict. You can remain animal-based, and still have some variety.
As a general rule, to lose weight you will want to not eat foods that spike insulin and you will want to be in ketosis often, which is achieved by eating a moderate protein high fat diet. The last 10 pounds or so are notoriously stubborn.
You say you hit the gym a few times a week. Are you lifting weights? Could you be gaining muscle? It sounds like you are saying you lost 17 pounds right away but now have gained a couple back. Is that correct?

First off Andre, don’t worry about the language, I guarantee you can’t butcher it up any worse than U.S. Americans do. Everything you typed was perfectly fine.

Yes we are all different in how this diet works on us. It all depends on where we are starting our journeys. You started out fairly healthy so your experience is going to be totally different from this broken down old man. But, it still works for everyone.
It’s a misconception that carnivore is a weight loss diet. It’s not.
Carnivore is not a magic bullet. Carnivore is not a diet. Carnivore is a way of eating which enables your body to undo years of metabolic damage, abuse from calorie restricted diets, and metabolic disregulation. Carnivore is primarily about health and healing.
Yes- it is true that the weight will come off. But! It will do it when it wants to. For some people it happens fast, for others slow because we are all different.
You may just be in a stall or plateau. I’ve hit plateaus that lasted a month. I’m in one right now that has lasted over a month and I’d like to drop a few more pounds but I don’t worry about it. I just keep on eating the same way because this is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle. I will eat this way the rest of my life. My weight will settle in where it’s supposed to.
Settle into your lifestyle. Eat fatty meat, salt and water and your body will take care of the rest when it wants to.

This translates to 1lb of meat, 7-8 eggs, 6' tall, and 20% body fat for us American folks 🙂
There could be a couple things going on. What kind of meat are you eating? Is it fatty, or is it lean? For example, a 1 lb ribeye might have 1200 calories. Add in your 560 calories in the 8 eggs and you are sitting at 1760. Add a tablespoon of butter to cook those eggs in and you are at 1860. But if you are eating lean meat such as chicken or fish then you are coming in way under this.
It's true you don't have to count calories to lose weight, but it is a useful metric to determine if you are over or under eating. Your body's will adjust to your eating habits. For example, if you cut your calories even more, you're body will learn to run on that reduced load. So what some people will do is gradually add calories to their daily intake, 1800 calories for a fews days, then 1850 for a few days, then 1900 for a few days, 1950, 2000, 2050, 2100, 2150, 2200, 2250, 2300, etc, over the course of a month. The body gets used to running with the higher amount, and then you suddenly drop back to 1800 again. You will lose weight again until your body adjusts to what you are doing, and then you repeat the process.
Another idea is how far apart are those 2 meals a day? If you have breakfast at 8am and dinner at 6pm, that is a 14/10 fasting schedule (14 hours fasting, 10 hours feasting). Try adjusting your intermittent fasting window to 16/8 or 18/6 or even 20/4. For example, if you postponed breakfast until noon and had dinner at 6pm, that would be a 18/6 intermittent fasting pattern, where you consume all the food you are going to eat within an 6 hour window.
This video will give you some other ideas of what can help...
