How do you control the urge to eat when you're fasting/dieting?
One scoop of unflavored Re-lyte in hot water. Black coffee/decaf or plain tea. "Clean fasting" is easier. Cephalic phase insulin response can drop your blood sugar and make you feel ravenous.

What Did You Eat Today?
Scrambled eggs are quick, melt butter, pour in beaten eggs on medium heat, done. I buy Jones precooked sausage patties, they are thin and heat up on skillet quickly. Lately I have been buying chuck roasts and disecting them like Laura Spath showed in a video. I get two chuck eyes out of it and I chunk up the rest and brown in butter. It doesn't take long if you cut it in bite size pieces. So when I get hungry I just melt butter in cast iron and throw the chunks in to brown the outside. I just got some chomp beef sticks at Wally world today. They taste like slim Jim's did back in the eighties. Minus the spiciness.

Daily Movement Goals
1 mile on the track. 1 100m sprint 1 lawn mowed At the track there was someone receiving some personal type of training. The trainer was in terrible shape. I wondered if he is eating a lot of plants and avoiding red meat to try to maintain his figure. The dude had a huge belly and cankles. I don't mean to sound rude, but I wanted ask him where he gets off trying to instruct physical fitness given his current state. The client probably just liked being told what to do so he didn't have to think about it, I get that, but I have a problem paying for services when the provider clearly doesn't have their $#;! together. I would feel like I was getting ripped.

Will I still benefit if my diet is meat bought at store, vs focusing on grass fed and finding a source?
Yes you will benefit just from removing plants especially the plant fats/oils. Each level of change will create a greater benefit. But like Dr Ken Berry often says, eat the meat you can afford.

Anyone use Indoor grill?
I just received one for my birthday, but am scared to use it. Something about leaving a roast in the water for 18 hours. I should try a steak, but so far the 2 hours for that doesn't line up with my work schedule. It's method of cooking meat sealed in a bag in a bath of water at lower temp. You are supposed to sear the meat when it is done. It can be done in a crock pot or instant pot or you can buy a souvide appliance, that is looks like a stick blender, but it just a heat element with temp and timer control.

I have a personal question
First call your doctor. I haven't heard anyone having that issue from carnivore. What level of blood are you talking?

Struggling
It sounds like you have been over restricted with cico, for some time now and that will have ill effects on both hormones and metabolism. Low energy could be a number of things from thyroid to electrolyte imbalance. Here is a prescription from Dr Berry: eat when hungry till comfortably stuffed. Megadose Vitamin P (patience)

What Did You Eat Today?
@Geezy I am so jealous, we don't have any of those Brazilian steak houses around here yet, I'd have to drive to another state. I used the paffle pancake recipe, chilled, to make a window opening snack sandwich yesterday. Excellent! @ol_hilly my husband call the chiropractor " Dr Jamback" Yesterday was a light day; a salami sandwich and later a bowl of ground beef with about 2oz smoked kielbasa and 1 slice bacon tossed with grey poupon. I just got around to reading label on that and see that it has citric acid, whyyyy? So I will try to find a cleaner alternative. Then I had a small cup of plain yogurt with a drop of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon and also freeze dried decaf crystals. That was interesting because the decaf crystals didn't dissolve fully and they added crunch to the yogurt that I kinda liked. Sorta like chewing on chocolate covered coffee beans. Bitter but addictive.

I wonder if an air fryer might be an option. I don't have one but I see them being used in the carnivore YouTubes.- What Did You Eat Today?

I picked up pizza for the boys and ate a cold tough blade steaks with too hard boiled eggs. BLECH ! I was tempted to dissect a slice of the meat lovers but then I reminded myself of the fact that some pizza places squirt oil on the pizza so I passed on that and while they had their ice cream I had some whipped cream with some vanilla extract in it.- What Did You Eat Today?
- Dairy free creamy coffee
Yes! That what reminded me that I don't have to add anything to make it "creamy" I have seen people do it with ice in their black coffee and it makes a slushy.- Can you recommend a good carnivore book?

The 1st sprint of the week was delayed till Thursday. I didn't time it today. I feel like my body is responding well, rejoicing even. I tried to jog a bit and my body reacted with dread so I slowed to a walk and then did another sprint back to my vehicle.- 🤔 What Are Your Thoughts On Grounding? 🤔
This reminds me of how I would get physically distressed when walking by the power substation. It drove me nuts. I had a friend whose mother always got headaches and they found cancer. there house was really close to the power lines.- Carnivore costs more?
I wish I could get my whole family on it. It would certainly be cheaper if I could avoid the bread and produce aisles. This might be TMI but I don't need to use as much TP on carnivore. Also need to factor in if you take pain meds if those have ceased. I have quit regular coffee, so we spend half on that. I do use expensive instant decaf but I drink less than I did regular coffee. We have been getting free eggs from friends so that has helped keep grocery bill down as well. - Anyone use Indoor grill?
