  1. Heavy heavy fatty fats. Meats butter and electrolytes. Fat is where you get your energy/calories along with butter (grass fed non gmo) It's a start I'm sure others have more ideas, this is off the top of my head.
  2. Ok 44 hrs down 16 to go. Been busy today not feeling hungry.
  3. Side note I do vape but decided to quit nicotine in it for 1 week now. Blood pressure is doing better but just curious if 53 is a bad heart rate?
  4. 38 hours into water fast. I may see about 60 hours as I'm feeling super.
  5. Finally after a week I hit 265, 35 hrs into water fast and not the least bit hungry.
  6. I've seen many different Dr's for anything from heart, edema to chronic back pain and numbness from the knees to my feet. Not 1 dr was able to help me with these issues like carnivore has. Dr's office calls, new patient enrollment have skyrocketed allegedly due to Dr's never stop learning about medical problems. I mentioned to my wife's dr about ketosis and she said that I need carbs and ketosis is bad. I asked wife's cardiologist their thoughts on meat only diet he said a person needs fiber for nutrition. I am going to ask my cardiologist is vegan or vegetarian better since I can't decide . I'll drop the bomb after he sees my labs and gives me a stupid answer. My Primary is totally on board with my lifestyle change which surprised me. Vegan and vegetarian is not chastised like carnivore is. Please let us know if you have encountered similar roadblocks and how to EDUCATE someone who refuses to listen to a layman?
  7. Homestead How just interviewed @cabanachronicles on YouTube. I've been following her journey from the start.
  8. Honestly Carnivore isn't going to help you. Stop while you can and eat what you enjoy. This community is not for medical advice Good Luck on your endeavors.
  9. You sound impatient looking for fast results which any diet, lifestyle a person partakes will take time. I know of a few ways you can lose weight fast and readily available in your neck of the woods
  10. @Andre I asked several questions which YOU FAILED to acknowledge. You're vague about what your total diet/ regimen is on this journey. Lifestyle is what this is due to health problems for alot of people here and weight loss is a perk. That being said @Geezy showed some restraint. @Andre Instead of trolling and being unhappy with our advice questions etc maybe you can see if the vegan community has better answers From internet search. If you have 22% body fat, it means In order to maintain a healthy weight, you should put on muscle mass. You should not worry about your weight when you are at 22% body fat. It is normal to have some amount of fat in the human body.
  11. Update on price if the source is reliable. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/08/26/dexcom-launches-stelo-its-first-over-the-counter-continuous-glucose-monitor.html
  12. Great news for those of us who want to monitor our blood glucose but don't have insurance. Not sure about price point but it will be OTC soon.
  13. Looks good. I may need to pick ur brain after I get my grill set up. Just a pellet for beginner smoker, not sure I have patience for handling offset smoker yet.
  14. Andre, This is a lifestyle not a diet as @Geezy mentioned earlier. Thin people doesn't signify HEALTHY. You never mentioned fasting, like working out muscles need a rest period.... your kidneys and liver need a rest which is where fasting comes into play. What's your protein to fat ratio for your meals? Dr Barry and maybe Dr Chaffee have said you don't get fat from eating fats. ie; more fat than protein may help. Also are you taking enough electrolytes daily especially working out?
  15. Off my OMAD and eating whenever I'm hungry so last 6 of cheap eggs and 4 strips of bacon. Probably 6 eggs with an ACG chaser tonight for dinner.
  16. If I raised chickens pigs and cows I'd name them....... DINNER
  17. You raise your own chickens? Love to do that but HoA doesn't allow.
  18. Every single positive thing regardless how minute it's progress. Keep on trucking, I'm happy for you .
