  7. This is very tempting but wondering if it could be made with fresh ground instead of instant as I abhor instant coffee.
  8. I'll have to share my step by step process next time I make tallow. More surface area you have the easier/faster it renders. I don't use paper towel when I strain as I want that FATTY goodness in my bowls of solids. Usually get about 2-3 lbs of food from 20-25lbs of fat.

    Well not sure when and how bad the weather is gonna be today/night but I'll try to make it even for a short period. St. Louis got hit hard friday close to us so keepin our fingers crossed today.

Nothing more nothing less just saying Leg strength> upper body = WIN
  13. LalaH Understood things are different and possibly more difficult for females > males. I'm insulin resistant still after 11 months but I'm less concerned about weight than I am about my health. I had 1 foot in the grave the other on a banana peel before I started. My WHY is wanting to be here for my wife and furbaby. Took me 5+ decades to make bad choices I don't expect to have overnight success (but I have had it starting out). Stay the path, don't get discouraged as the scale is not the end all be all, our body will show changes in inches and less swelling/pain/inflammation. Cheers

  15. Wife and I love slices fried with eggs. Just make sure you get the meat with a bit of crustiness.

Long Life in the Legs @waywemove The original post is like dipping your toes into dieting hahah, but this gal is like ok jump in head first to carnivore (yes her diet sucks but wth no one is perfect).😋
  17. Unfortunately brother I don't see where the OP states they're female 😅 Welcome aboard. What's your WHY on starting this LIFESTYLE? Like Geezy said earlier, eating enough fatty meat 73/27 ground beef mixed with eggs is a good start. Slices of cold butter with your protein choice is another way to add healthy fats. Choose your salt wisely as Pink Himalayan salts are not the same. I prefer Redomond Real Salt #10 on amazon is best way to go. Cheers

  22. I agree but if you're worried about not losing weight switching from whatever you eat to another protein may help you. I had to do this 2x due to stalling and weight gained.
