  1. Yes eating by schedule is engrained into us by indoctrination from society. I marched to my own tune from jr high school. Didn't follow the crowd etc. Eat when you're hungry until satiated and nevermind what others say or think.

  4. Once I finish 8 dozen eggs by Sunday maybe sooner, I'll be starting on halal grass fed eye of round 22lb with 2lb bacon and 4-5lb of fat trimmings.

  11. Welcome aboard @Famal. What's your WHY for carnivore lifestyle? Myself I decided I quit all carbs, strict carnivore for health reasons and if I lose weight it's a bonus. I feel it's safe to say most of us carnivores don't even drink anymore. Alcohol turns to sugar and sugar is poison. It's not a nutrient and we don't need it to live so cutting all carbs, sugar and drinking is pretty much what I practice. I've stalled but have yet to gain what I lost. Good luck and hope this helps.
  12. Between the 4 that I rotate I'm lucky to use a Tbsp/week combined. Altho I really like a heavy dash of oregano on my beef right before it rests.

  16. Devils advocate here.... Same thing can be said about Christianity, religion etc. I for one profess I am carnivore, don't give 2 shits how people view me for that. Passing judgment on anyone is not part of my nature which is why it doesn't bother me. We're all human TRYING to be healthier doesn't honestly mean we should condemn others because they feel their WOE is better. We're not them, they're not us but if they choose to judge us for what we eat that's THEIR problem not ours. My wife's taking the f'n Ozempic still dealing with inflammation, and other health issues while she sees she's getting healthier hubby back.

  18. Welcome aboard @meljel1. Glad to see you're immersed into this lifestyle as it will make the transition easier for you. Please try to use single source salt ie; Redmond Real Salt, Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt. Mix a bit in with your water daily for electrolytes, don't need to start with commercial no sugar crap with "natural flavors ". Single source, 1 ingredient. Get to know your sugars names .   20. I still drink coffee for that mmmm taste and either put a good chunk of butter or cream (heavy whipping). I wasn't a sweet carb addict but savory so stopping sugar in my coffee was nothing. Like @Geezy said 1 thing at a time but definitely try heavy cream or butter.
