You are one the right track. This is an elimination diet so getting down to basics of just animal fats and animal protein is a good starting point. Some even need to eliminate all meat except for ruminants. Some people react to poultry or pork because they are mono gastric animals. After a good washout period, about 30-60, days you can reintroduce one item for a couple of days and give it a week and see if there is any reaction. If there are none then you may continue using that item but if there is a reaction then it’s out forever. That happened to me with wine and also with chili. Eczema being an auto immune disorder can be healed by carnivore according to Dr. Ken Barry and numerous carnivores who have achieved healing. I had dandruff, which I know is not the same but still an autoimmune skin condition, that disappeared about 8 months into carnivore. I had had it all my life. I don’t know how long you’ve been but you just may need to give it more time simply because we did make our bodies unhealthy overnight and we can’t cure overnight. The good news is that it will heal much faster than we wrecked it.

I’ve come across a few people that experience this during their transition stage. I believe it’s generally associated with low electrolytes. Since you are already taking electrolytes you may just need to wait it out. Everyone I know that has encountered this has gotten over it in time. I doubt it’s the ground beef but it’s possible that you may be sensitive to grain finished beef and maybe grass finished may be better for you. You could try eating something other than the ground and try eating steak. I say that because maybe your ground has something added to it. Probably not but still a consideration. Are you eating a lot of eggs. Many people can have a histamine intolerance to egg whites and can only eat the yolks. At this early stage in your journey I’d give it more time and see if it improves as your body heals.- Another Deer Down
- Try These Supplements
5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:5, ESV) What a wonderful passage in our journey to know Christ. It’s also a great lesson we can apply to our daily journey in our carnivore health. Supplement your faith in this WOE with the knowledge of the hows and whys of this diet. Knowledge keeps you strong in your convictions. That knowledge gives you self control to overcome the challenges that we face with trying to eat this way. Immerse yourself in the process and you will be steadfast. As you progress and learn you will want to share your newfound health and experience with others. You will want to help others experience the wonderful healing that you’ve experienced. Just be sure to do it with affection and love as one who cares. These are the things that keep you effective and fruitful in your journey as a carnivore just as in your journey with Christ.- Good video on a terrible tragedy.

- New here - will cravings ever stop?
Unfortunately people tend to have an emotional attachment to certain foods. The addiction can be both physical and mental. Being supportive is the best strategy and being a good example as well.- Good video on a terrible tragedy.
This is such a shame on several levels but there are lessons to be learned that go both ways.- New here - will cravings ever stop?
Scott you have reached what I would call nirvana of carnivore. The things that you used to love no longer appeal to you. That’s called freedom.- What Did You Eat Today?

- Leavening That Grows
“He spoke another parable to them, ‘The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened’” (Matthew 13:33). Small things often have a great influence, which is the point of Jesus’ parable here. If you have ever made bread, especially a sourdough bread you can use the starter over and over to make new bread and never run out. It is said that the best sourdough bread is still using the same stater from over a hundred years ago. So what influence do you have as a carnivore? People tend to watch each other and are easily influenced by what they see, so be a good influence to those around you. Be that leavening that causes others to grow and spread the carnivore community so that they may experience what you have experienced. During this time of year we often gather with many friends and family and you can have a positive influence on those around you as they witness what carnivore has done in your life. That influence can also be negative as well as positive during the holidays. Will they see you succeed with commitment, determination and discipline or will they perceive that you have failed in your WOE as you indulge in sweets and carbs? We know that a few dalliances into the carb world is not that big a deal and can be fun and that some can easily transition back and forth with no issues but just be aware that if you proclaim the power of eating a proper human diet and then eat the opposite way during times of temptation it can have a negative influence on those around you. Try to be the leavening that expands and grows our community, it will be worth it in the end.- What Did You Eat Today?

We have one here in town but I’ve never been in it. I went to one once, years ago, and it was required that I rent the shopping cart for a quarter. Someone at the store told me I’d get my quarter back but I told them “You don’t understand, I don’t care about the quarter, it’s that I don’t carry any money on me.” I haven’t been in one since.- Hello From Devon, UK
It good and very important that you read the labels on anything you buy. At least over in the UK your labels are more trustworthy than ours are. Keep us posted on your progress and don’t hesitate to ask for help. We’re here to support you.- What Did You Eat Today?

Welcome Tom. We are glad to have you here. I had to look up what rusk was and apparently it’s a hard, dry biscuit. I’m sorry they use that where you live but here in the states the majority of all burger patties sold commercially in restaurants and fast food joints are 100% beef with no fillers. The worst thing we might have to deal with is the patties being cooked in seed oils. The majority of the carnivores I come across make their own burger patties and only occasionally eat them from a restaurant. I’ve only done it once when on a road trip. If you are not sure of the purity of what you are eating then by all means cook your own.- What Did You Eat Today?
