Seeing is Believing! Carnivore Diet Results!

I just celebrated my ONE YEAR carniversary! After learning about the Proper Human Diet and Carnivore from Dr. Ken Berry MD  - I lost 55 pounds and reversed several of my chronic health conditions. In this video, I share some pictures of the former me, when I tipped the scales from 220-230 pounds. I reached my goal weight of 175 in mid-November and have maintained it for the last 6 months. Now I am setting new goals and the carnivore diet gives me the confidence that I will achieve them too.

The way I curb those urges to snack is to eat more fatty meat during a meal.

I agree. I have only actually been hungry twice thus far and have yet to have any real cravings. Most of the meats I use are fairly high in fat content. Both times I felt hungry was when I had pork chops the night before. They were trimmed more than I would like (carnivore or not) and were really lean. The next time I had them I cut them up in a bowl and melted butter on top. The following day I was not hungry after the pork.

    Might just be coincidence.

I get it. I love pork but like chicken it just doesn’t satisfy me. I have to eat them with plenty butter.
It must have something to do with the omega 6 and 3 ratios.

    • It's the West Highland Way in Scotland. That's interesting that you Miranda are wondering if you could do it on a fast, as I've been wondering the same thing. No food for 7 days should be be doable. I even wondered if you could do it without bringing water, and just drink at each stream you pass - its scotland so there are tons of streams, or burns as we call them.

    • Did you eat the onions? If not it wasn’t a cheat meal. In fact it’s more than likely that your meat was cooked with seed oils. The onion will not contaminate your meat and the small amounts of seed oils used for grilling the meat won’t hurt you unless you are extremely sensitive to them. Now if you gave in to those onions then shame on you for being human. Seriously, don’t sweat the small stuff. When we go to a Mexican joint I will generally get the shrimp or fajitas and there is always peppers and onions but it’s pretty simple to just pick out the meat and stay clean.
