  1. 101% Agreed and it's maybe even more than 90% of people. After doing this WOE for 4 years now when I hear non carnivores or even non-ketos speak about their health and their WOE and all the meds they are on I just remain quiet and go on with my own life. When I first started and had such great success with carnivore I was telling everyone about it to the point of being annoying, and I quickly found out NO ONE gives a shit about their own health as long as they are not having any major issues. Recently had a family get together with the in-laws and some of them were saying how they are on statins along with a few other meds and they have no idea why it was prescribed. They just trust their horrible old doctors. They don't even know what their blood work numbers mean and they were all eating the sugary crap that people brought. I almost bit through my tongue to remain quiet, but I did and said to myself "oh well, it's NOT my job to save THEIR lives". I also have an old work friend who is very pre-diabetic and he is convinced that he could never eat this way nor afford it even though I showed him how we spend about 1/3 less on food bills by not buying all the crap we used to buy. He did get his A1C down to 7 and his doctor told him that was normal range now. I said nothing about that to him. There again "not my job". The whole thing is so sad!
  2. Great, now Walmart is going to run out of meat 😄
  3. Yesterday I started taking twice daily NAC for my MS and trying to boost my energy level. MS fatigue is REALLY horrible! I've used NAC in the past but only once per day (1/2 dose according to the label). Just wondering what other have found from using it?
  4. That is exactly what i do most times I grill steaks, Plus I have a "smoke tube" which is a stainless steel tube you add pellets into, light one end and it can add more smoke for up to 4 hours per fill. I have an original Traeger (made in USA one) and those early models were not very good on the smoke setting. I even got the Traeger upgrade but still not very good compared to other models out there in the marketplace. The smoke tube used by itself is great for smoking things like cheeses and hard boiled eggs. I sometimes smoke my eggs before pickling them - EXCELLENT flavor doing that. For brisket or pork shoulders I then fire up my Brinkman Cimarron and just go with cherry or hickory chunks all day long. Wrap at 165' and continue up to 203'. With food like that Who wouldn't want to be a carnivore???
  5. OMAD for later Today. Started my Sunday off with a pickled egg 😄. I picked up a bottle of Primal Kitchen chipotle/lime mayo and was thinking of making some deviled eggs using that. Very spicy mayo. "Life is good, now eat your meat"
  6. Sometimes nothing is the best thing to eat for the body. Super healing powers of fasting.
  7. Never stop telling your story! You are bringing people into the healthiest way of eating they can do for themselves. We all have to tell our stories over and over until we remove all the myths and stigma about Carnivore, and how most people eat so poorly and with a few simple changes they could be living a better life.
  8. While digging in the freezer today I found a bag of frozen veggies from many years ago. Those are now at the bottom of our compost pit 😆
  9. My mom would make those for me as a kid. She called them "eggs in a frame". This was in the 1960's and the bread was some type of Wonder bread or something equally as bad.
  10. When making scrambled eggs I like to prepare them "Gordan Ramsey" style. I don't care for the person but I do like the way he make his scrambled eggs 😁. I didn't see pickled eggs on the choices. I do like to make those also and I usually keep a jar of those in the fridge. Very handy to have on hand for a quick meal.
  11. The corned beef and eggs look great, but I'll pass on the rest 😀
  12. I've been drinking decaf coffee for years already. To me it was something I just enjoyed consuming. I quit it because of what it does to my bladder reactions. Can't even go for a walk unless I know where all the bushes are to pee behind 😆. When I don't have it, then things are just fine. My wife still is drinking it, so I can still enjoy the smell of it in the morning.
  13. Congratulations on the weight loss so far. Carnivore gets easier as you go, at least that is what I found. I still have the rare keto treat, but not very often and never anything worse than a keto level.
  14. Roast beef, salt and water for my OMAD. I'm going to start doing more "lion diet" days, starting today! Also calling it quits on coffee starting today. Such big changes, I know 😂
  15. Today I tossed another chuck roast in the slow cooker. Italian style this time around. We had bacon and summer sausage for our early nutrition this morning. Split the last piece of Niesha's cornbread with the wife. I also ate a tangerine, But don't hold that against me, Thanks 🤣. If I get time I want to make a batch of ghee yet today also. "Eat meat and live long time" Terry
  16. Reverse seared chuck roast for the wife and I today. Preheating the grill for searing right now. My mouth is watering just thinking about it 😂
  17. Our local Walmart had a pack of thin ribeyes on clearance and I made this using them. I didn't even pound them thinner. Just fried it up in some bacon grease. Wonderful taste and there were no leftovers.
  18. I'm that way with fish bones
  19. Our dog gets a big dose of ground up eggshells in every batch of her homemade food. I found I can't grind them fine enough for human consumption even using a Vitamix. I added some to a bowl of ground beef once and it was TOO crunchy while eating 😂
  20. Congratulations Peter, You found the magic answer to most of life's health problems. I bet your energy level was good during the fast also? I'm fasting every week now from 24 -72 hours or more. It helps the food and toilet paper bills also 😀
  21. You won't hurt yourself with fasting. When you are truly hungry, you will eat again. I just ended a 60 hour this morning, only because i had meat and sausage in the fridge that was at its expo date. I was feeling great and could have went 2 more days for sure. I'm doing extended fasts every week now, Meatless Monday kind of thing or whenever I feel like it. After eggs, bacon and sausage this morning went for a walk with our dog and my energy was way above my normal level.
  22. I really enjoy this way of eating and have no plans of changing. I wish more people would use it for the benefits it gives, but then our stores may run out of meat 🤔. I hope your friend can give it a go. It sure helps me. Nothing so far will cure the MS, but then you have to do whatever you can to feel your best. Good luck to him!
  23. Just a thought, Before you go to the "Meatfest" party you may want to have something light like a hard boiled egg to get your guts primed and ready to go back into action
  24. I like when the wife and I go food shopping now and we read labels on all the crap we used to buy. I check carbs first and then ingredients. Just about EVERYTHING seems to have canola oil listed in the first few ingredients. When I purged our kitchen of all the bad stuff I used our old canola oil to light our fire pit 😂
  25. Sounds like it's going good so far for you. You'll know when it time to call it quits with fasting. When i first started Carnivore I was so pumped up that I was telling everyone they should try it and QUICKLY learned that people don't give a s##t about their own health and it's not my job to take care of them, so I just say nothing now. It's very hard sometimes when you know someone who you know could benefit form Carni but they don't want to hear it. We were at a family event recently and I was shocked at all the people there that are on statins and they were discussing HDL, LDL and things with their health, all with incorrect info. I just said there and said nothing. My tongue was ready to jump out of my mouth, LOL. If you would mention fasting they just look at you like you are crazy, so I now just keep that as MY secret weapon for health.
