I have been using salt with my coffee, coffee with either heavy whipping cream or half and half, for some reason makes the coffee taste pretty good, also I noticed I don’t get leg cramps anymore, overall I’m eating less than a tsp per day.

Is this too much salt?

I don't think so. You have much less to worry about salt being no carb.

The daily recommendation seems to be 2300 mg according to mayo clinic, but take that with a grain of salt.

Especially when beginning carnivore, do not be afraid of salt. In the beginning stages especially, your kidneys release excessive sodium due to ketosis. Salt to taste and you'll be fine. And start considering an iodine supplement if you do not have sea food on the regular. It's time to do away with the salt myths. Too little salt is just as, if not more harmful for you, this includes increasing possibility of cardiovascular disease.

Your salt intake is not high at all. I consume much more than that on a daily basis and according to my blood test my sodium levels stay in the lower range. But of course you aren’t me so your mileage may vary. 
As Orweller stated, your body will regulate how much sodium it can use and excrete the rest. 
A good rule of thumb is to listen to your body. If you are craving salt, if salt tastes really good to you then your body is telling you that it’s needs sodium. If you are finding that it’s just not tasting good then you need to stop using salt until it tastes good again. 
Now if you have a kidney disease then high amounts of sodium can be an issue. 
Be aware that not all salt is the same. Be diligent about reading labels, yes, even salt. Some salts such as common table salt may have sugars or other ingredients in them that you don’t need in your diet.

I probably use the same as you. I don't that amount is of risk or detrimental. I always try to add it is an individual things especially if you have known or underlying medical issues. Like Geezy said, especially the kidneys.

I salt most everything to taste and on occasion I will add some to the water I am drinking. 

My sodium levels were right down the middle on the last testing. 

I guess I am good?

at least personally i simply listen to how much salt i 'crave'. i realize that some days i'd like less, some days i use more, and i believe is just a healthy way my body is letting me know how much i should use.  That's my approach but that doesn't mean it is a smart approach.

On a side note i realize that by using sea salt (unrefined) or hymalayan pink salt i end up using and craving much more in comparison with table salt.

This is the right approach, especially when your kidneys are healthy and your carb intake is less than 45 or so grams a day. Salt becomes a problem when you are high carb/sugar. Then also consider the state of ketosis, the fewer liquid your body holds onto, etc.

    • "Marching into March with Much Motivation"

      For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month.     • Today is February 1st and marks the first day of "National Fasting February" - and yes, this is a thing. Google it!

      For this month's challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to practice various forms of fasting throughout the month. The type of fasting you wish to do is entirely up to you. We are going to encourage INTERMITTENT FASTING, that is to put it simply, skipping a meal so that you are only eating 2 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day. The goal is to enjoy these meals within an 8 hour "feasting window" and then no food in the remaining 16 hours "fasting window" (in which 8 of those hours you should be sleeping).

      An example is waking up at 7am, but waiting until 11am-noon for your first meal, and then having dinner at 6-7pm for your 2nd meal. Other people prefer to eat a breakfast, then a mid-day lunch, and skip dinner. 

      If you want to throw in a 24, 48, or 72 hour fast just to show off by all mean do so, lol.
