Grilled chicken with a side of butter. Bacon and eggs.
Hamburger patties, naked.
Some convenience stores with have boiled or pickled eggs.
You can also stop in a grocery store and get some cheese, clean sausage or lunch meat.

Wendy's will let you order sides of large beef patties and bacon. McDonald's does too but specify you want the quarter pound patties or else you get the little dinky kids size ones.

Geoff's suggestion of hard boiled or pickled eggs is a good one. The pickled eggs might have trace sugar with the vinegar and beet juice but I wouldn't worry about that. You can also look for sugar free beef jerky, OR at least make if sugar is listed it's after that "contains less than 2% of..." line in the ingredients. A nice low sugar beef jerky will have a carb or two, but the regular beef jerky has like 6 carbs per serving because brown sugar is like the 2nd ingredient.

I stop and get hot dogs at convenience stores when I'm on the road.  I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing, but I think it's better than the alternative.  Just a hot dog or sausage dog, no bun.

So wife wanted to go dress shopping at a big mall in Atlanta while we were there. I ended up getting 3 hamburger patties with cheese and bacon (no oil involved) and a bottled water.
$28....

Ill cook at home.

It’s far better than the alternative of chips and a coke for sure.
Just be aware that those dogs may have cereal fillers, soy and sugar in them. A few now and then won’t hurt you though unless you’re very sensitive to that stuff.

You went there to buy it? I've been a hotrodder since I was a teen. I currently have a 2007 Corvette.

Ha, I had 5 motorcycles throughout my life. Sold the last one in 2015. Never had a hemi, but I did have a '70 Roadrunner, 440" 3x2.

You're good. You'll never know what's really in that hot dog, but if you check out hot dog packages at the store there's usually 1g of carb snuck in there. I wouldn't worry about it since it's a rare event.

    • "Marching into March with Much Motivation"

For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month. Get in the habit now, and we just might have beach bodies when summer officially hits, lol.

Just like before, we encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.

The March drawing will be for a 4-pack of Carnivore Bars!

Every Reply in this topic will count as an entry for this month's prize drawing. Back-to-back posts count as 1 entry as a counter to spamming.

Attending Monday night zoom also counts as a bonus entry. Being a supporter of our YouTube channel also gives you an entry.

    • Today is February 1st and marks the first day of "National Fasting February" - and yes, this is a thing. Google it!

For this month's challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to practice various forms of fasting throughout the month. The type of fasting you wish to do is entirely up to you. We are going to encourage INTERMITTENT FASTING, that is to put it simply, skipping a meal so that you are only eating 2 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day. The goal is to enjoy these meals within an 8 hour "feasting window" and then no food in the remaining 16 hours "fasting window" (in which 8 of those hours you should be sleeping).

An example is waking up at 7am, but waiting until 11am-noon for your first meal, and then having dinner at 6-7pm for your 2nd meal. Other people prefer to eat a breakfast, then a mid-day lunch, and skip dinner.

If you want to throw in a 24, 48, or 72 hour fast just to show off by all mean do so, lol.
