  1. Geezy, I believe you mite have gotten some more last night. We did up here in Mo.
  2. Me too!!! Plus, you can cook when the lights go out.
  3. I one time saw a group on TV talking about eating pork. One feller said he ate everything on a pig from the "pooter to the snooter". That would be me also. I also like a lil pig fat in my deer meat and dry beef burger and anything that's not greasy enough. I have substituted bacon grease for seed oils.
  4. Apparently if your allergic to pork, then there's a high chance your allergic to cats. And sometimes visa-versa. Good thing I'm neither. https://www.nyallergy.com/pork-allergy/
  5. I tenderized the last two gristley Ribeyes I had. And fixed a four eggs omelet. The Ribeyes Came in in a four pack. I'm glad that's over. Saving a dollar isn't always good. lol Nemo, I dunno if you can have it, but I sometimes smear sour cream over my hamburger steaks. Or blue cheese when I have it. It adds a lil something something to it.
  6. Today I picked out a couple flat iron steaks at work and let thaw out. Got them home and tenderized them, thinking they'd be tough as shoe leather. My goodness, They were by far more tender than them ribeyes I had last night. Weird, I know. I will be getting more of them.
  7. Last night I had catfish dipped in butter. Mmmmm. Tonight I had a couple ribeyes. Sad to say but they weren't that good. Probably why they were so cheap. $24 for ribeyes. or two pounds ish. My egg guy brought me some fresh catfish. I told him I liked it boiled and dipped in butter. He said he wanted to try it but every time he mentioned it, his wife would turn her nose up on the thought. lol
  8. I agree, pork panko and egg in bacon grease. I had country style ribs in the crock pot, both last night and today.
  9. Santa came early and brought me my choice of blue cats. I just took two and dressed them. This evening I had a couple filets with pork panko, fried in bacon grease. I'll have the rest boiled with butter. One of the old girls that comes in the store brought me a quart of pickled quail eggs. ~Happy Camper~
  10. That won't do much. I've only had it one time and wasn't impressed.
  11. Stop teasing me with that catfish, Geezy...
  12. I kinda read over it and still not sure of the what fors, but I think it's pretty awesome that it stood up and running for that long. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/society/article/londons-smithfield-market-set-to-close-after-almost-800-years-7gmgnhnqp
  13. Yesterday was smoked porkchops at work and last niht was wings. Tonight was bouta dozen leftover wings and a hand full of cooked down beef fat trimmings. Possum had all them chicken bones and he chose catfood. I would guess he was a bit mental.
  14. Last night I had most of a bouta 5 pound rib roast, and tonight i finished it off. This evening I visited the local butcher shop and came home with some beef trimmings. Me and the cats are happy.
  15. Meant to say sausages, not sauces.
  16. Had a chuck roast with a side of boiled radishes smothered in butter. ... Had a chuck steak and some sauces Friday. And got a rib roast thawing out for Sunday and maybe Monday. We'll see how far it goes.
  17. I watched Ken Barry's vid about that as well.... I never bought any of it. Though I did copy their recipe they have posted as well as Doc Berry and Old Guy Carnivore's to compare. Never figured I would use enough to warrant buying powders in bulk. Last summer I mixed some, crushing daily supplement doses and mixing in water for them really hot days outside. I figure that'll be good enough for me and lots cheaper.
  18. Been noticing more and more Carnivores coming outta the woodwork. Seen a new one this evening at the butcher shop stocking up for the week. "Seen one" as in she admitted to it. Not like I know one when I see one. .. Or well, you can kinda guess when they buy lots of just meat. There's several I've met at the little grocery store I part time at. In a county of eight K , that's quite a bit. It's catching on....
  19. I do hope he puts a dent in the amount of poisons folks consume. But I bet the same bubble headed people that goes against anything that makes sense will pitch a fit. The little 3 isle family store I work at would lose one whole isle. I would rather see wholesome foods replace it. ... Back 30ish years ago, me and another small family store owner would often discuss what one should be able to buy with food stamps. We both agreed that junk food should not be. I have seen one family buy 30 cases of pop on food stamps. ??? And it wasn't for a picnic, it was just their monthly pop usage. I sure hope things change.

What can a Duck do that a Doctor won't? Stick his Bill up his behind! I told that to a couple Docs in the ER office one time. I got some smirks and a lot of finger wagging.
  22. I'm no expert in any field, but I have a small jar with some hard earned kidney stones in it. And have had a few bouts with gout. (poet? ha ) Haven't had any since the late 20teens when I started bettering my diet with keto then on to karnivore. Gout is like having a kidney stone in your foot, only you don't get the prize when it's over. Maybe I've never had the actual dumping, but I do know I no longer have aches in my feet or joints.
  23. Two chuck steaks and a cup of Folgers instant decaf with bouta teaspoon of cream.
  24. Would be my uninformed guess that it may be oxalates. And time. I don't know how much dairy you consume, but you might want to cut back some. I just use heavy cream when I want something in my coffee. Some cheeses and sour cream. But not all the time. ... I think I've had two blood works done in 60 years. Don't plan on having another for another 40. ... I do take vit D3 as I'm not in the sun much. Does it help? I think it does, and it's cheap.
