  1. There is a slight learning curve but if this technology deficient old man can figure it out anyone can. Bob, our leader l, will probably also be on Berry’s live steam.

  4. Welcome Sean. When I stopped drinking coffee and tea I started drinking bullet proof bone broth. 1 tbs of butter blended into a froth in hot bone broth. It was my morning drink for about a year but I eventually quit that too. Your idea is interesting but it sounds more like it might come out a little thick for a drink. I haven’t heard of anyone doing it before but experiment around with it and who knows, maybe you’ll come up with the next viral hit in carnivore cuisine.
  5. It’s the second best way to go for sure. If you have the means then this is my preferred way. raising my own. It isn’t cheaper but I love doing it and I know exactly what’s in my meat. That goes for my lambs as well and my chickens and eggs. And you are absolutely correct about the custom processing. I get my burger 70/30. I keep all fat trimmings and suet that isn’t used in the burger so I can make tallow. Bones go to the dogs and bone broth. Steaks cut to preferred size. Heart, liver and kidneys kept. Raising your own or buying one and having it processed is the best, healthiest and cheapest way to eat.
  6. Great testimony Terry. I have a friend whose son has MS and I’ve talked to him about getting his son on carnivore but his son doesn’t seem interested. I’m so glad that you were encouraged to come over to Carnivore Talk. Your experience will be very valuable to us. Have you done any interviews? I think you’d be a good candidate for Bob here on Carnivore Talk to put your story on Utube. And just to let you know, we do a Zoom meeting among members every Monday at 7:00 pm central time. Come check it out. Bob will post the announcement that day with the link. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah it sounds like you may need to experiment around with your diet. I hope you get it figured out. It’s no fun having to force yourself to work out but kudos to you for powering on through and getting it done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I didn’t know xylitol was dangerous for pets. That’s good to know. I don’t use it myself but still good to know. The only sweetener I have in the house is some Allulose and I only use that for Kiltz’s ice cream when I make it for my mother in law. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That is very common and have experienced something similar. I’m 75% German and 25% Scandinavian so I’m as white as it gets. Heck I’m so white I glow in the dark. I’ve always been a burn and peel kinda guy. If I rode my motorcycle home from work, 45 minutes, I had to put sunblock on. All of that changed with carnivore. I can now work all day in the Texas sun and I don’t burn like I used to. I’ll get a little red for a day and then it just turns brown. That’s in areas that where my skin is almost alway exposed to the sun. In areas that normally don’t see any sun I can still burn but it’s nothing like it was. Before I’d blister and peel and I’d have a skin reaction that would last for a week or more. Now it’ll turn red, not hurt, not blister and not peel. Goes away in a couple of days and that’s it. It’s amazing. I didn’t wear any sunblock at all last summer. I’m getting my shirt off and wearing shorts in the sun every chance I get this year. I’ve read that wearing sunglasses will block the UV receptors in your eyes that turns on the melatonin in your body to protect your skin. That’s a double bonus for me because carnivore has cured me of my day blindness and I don’t wear sunglasses anymore. Same same.
  10. If I remember right, Luck ate 50 hard boiled eggs. Telling on my age again. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wow, high praise indeed Peter. Thank you. I’m humbled sir. You should contact Dave Mac. Get your story out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. It’s interesting that you mention crashing and colliding. I’ve only done two long term fasts. My last one a couple of weeks ago I had planned to go 72 hours but I cut it short at a little over 48. I was doing some heavy work with a lot of bending over and getting up and I started feeling really bad. I kept getting dizzy and felt really tired and weak. I had to get some food in me and take a break for a while. A couple of hours later I was able to go back to working with no other issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I like your enthusiasm. Your body was telling you what you needed and you were smart to listen to it. As you continue to learn you’ll be even more convinced that this is the proper human diet. It’s too bad that your friends might be disappointed but this isn’t about them it’s about you and your health. Who knows, you might even convert some of them to join our team after they see how good you are doing.
  15. That’s an interesting question. I haven’t heard anyone ask that one before. I’ve been slacking off all winter and have started walking and lifting weights again. I hate to admit it but I notice too much weakness and muscle loss. It’s been difficult to get started but I am encouraged by how I feel afterwards. I guess it’s hard for me to say if it makes me feel old because I am old. I definitely feel weak so that kinda makes me feel my age but I feel much better after a good walk or workout, especially the next day. Maybe it’s just that it’s new to me again. Could it be that you are just in a rut? Maybe you need to change things up. I don’t know what kind of workout routine you do but maybe a different type of exercise might get you motivated again. Maybe even take a little break from exercising for a while. Are your energy levels good? Could there be something in your diet that could be affecting your energy, motivation or mood? Just throwing some things out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It is amazing what eating a proper human diet does to not only our bodies but our brains. Being only five days in you may encounter a few issues in the near future as your body transforms but just stay the course and allow your body to adjust as it needs to. So what brought you to carnivore? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Welcome to Carnivore Talk Binny. I’m glad you chose to join us. You are experiencing what we all experience and it just gets better with time.
  18. Or someone who has actually studied the science.[emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Haha. I’ve never worn a mask and have never distanced anything. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Great tip. I’ll do something like that with pate and then mix it into scrambled eggs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You’ve got that right. Not enough of us trapping and hunting them.
  22. More than likely. They are a pest here in Texas and we can’t kill them fast enough but I’m trying to do my part.
  23. Slowly but surely the “science” is catching up with what we already know. [emoji1787] It’s still progress though and I’ll take it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah I know but it doesn’t alway show every thread. It usually only shows me 4 or 5 threads But when I go over to TT there’s might be more. It may have something to do with me using a phone instead of a laptop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
