I’m surprised more people don’t mention having difficulty with carb cravings and then losing it by eating two double cheeseburgers and fries like I’ve been doing

also the video mentions alcohol consumption and that is part of my diet - Overconsumption of straight booze and my weight is not shredding off yet

If you're trying to overcome carb cravings, I would stay away from the fries 😉

Yes, alcohol will slow or stall weight loss. The body actually metabolizes alcohol even before metabolizing carbohydrates.

A 5 guys burger just opened a block away from home. They do okay

Now, they do double cheeseburgers without the bun, they are in a bowl with the lettuce and condiments. So it is possible to eat at 5 guys and keep it low carb

but it is a impulse food environment. When you smell the Cajun fries cooking it is rather tempting.

free ketchup to go was my downfall. I lost it like a chain reaction. Even though I got the burger with no buns I put tons of ketchup on my burger. Ketchup has sugar and who knows what else

plus they have free peanuts so I overdid it with carbs. Not too bad but had the Cajun fries been added then we are taking a heavy carb meal and no turning back

once a Type 1 Diabetic scarfs down a big serving of fries and ketchup and potato burger buns, their blood sugar will be messed up for days
