I agree with Geezy, Dr. Baker's book is a great resource. Another good book is Eat Bacon, Don't Jog. I am not sure of the author but it is on ebay for $5. It is a really good read. The formatting is almost more conversation like than book reading. Both are good examples.

I have an autoimmune disease as well, and carnivore has worked wonders for me.

And welcome. Hopefully you can find what you need for a smooth transition.

I second this, the book really emphasized what to eliminate although it doesn't recommend carnivore specifically.

Some questions to answer for yourself.

What is your why?

Are you a rip off the bandaid quickly...or a little bit at a time?

What diet have you been doing?

I would start by eliminating seed oils and added sugar. While increasing fat over time.

If you have been eating low-fat it takes a bit for your bile to catch up and remember what it's job is.

I appreciate you and thank you. I am a rip off the bandaide kinda woman.

My weight loss journey began December 2023. When I got serious about losing weight, my journey began with ozempic. When my insurance quit paying is when I stopped. I listened to Steak and Butter girl on Facebook. I then decided to do Carnivore Maech 2024. Lost approximately 10 lbs and gained few lbs and sometimes stalled. I continued carnivore but cut out the dairy. Weight loss is still slow, sometimes stalled. I then found and begun listening to carnivore talk. I joined and here I am. I have not had dairy in 6 months. I eat two meals per day. I eat first meal at 11 am and 2nd meal at 530-6 pm. I do not eat carbs or seed oils. Only fats I eat are real butter and tallow.

Oh, I misunderstood, I thought you were new to this woe. Sounds like you've made a great start. Have you seen Judy Cho on YouTube, she has some great info on healing. I don't really to watch Bella, she's uses a lot of clickbait and I have a hard time with her delivery. I'm not much of a mukbang person. There is another lady that keeps coming up on my feed, but I'm not sure her name. She's younger sometimes does videos with her dad. He has his own channel. I really like This channel too!
