Not exactly weather related but, I have noticed the grey squirrels have been licking the road alot this spring. Perhaps they always have and I just now saw it.

That’s odd. I’ve never seen that.

We’ve had a wetter spring than we normally do down here but it’s cyclical. We had a bad drought last year so the rain is welcome. Our aquifers need it.
We finally started hitting the low 90’s around here and that’s just fine with me. I like my weather just a little warmer than most. I like my weather like my food, coffee and women…hot.

Yes, I flew into Houston, and Damon was about another 30-45 minutes out, I think. Flat as a pancake down there too. Not so much as even an anthill, lol.

It’s no wonder that area is so flat and humid because there’s four bayou’s in that area. The area growth down there has encroached on the bayou’s to the point that now everyone there’s a big rain they flood.
