4Tbs beef gelatin

instant coffee

half n half

4 cups water

Bloom gelatin in a cup of cold water or cold coffee. add 3 cups of hot coffee. I used the ratio recommended for knox blox. I really like the cubed jello texture. I could eat the gelatin plain. Sometimes I will make the blocks with ginger tea. Good stuff!

You could just use whatever coffee you have around but I really like this brand20.jpg

That is a great idea for dessert within limitations. I don't drink coffee with sugar, just half & half but I keep thinking about how this would taste without it. With ia sweetener you might get in the ice cream range with a different texture. You could also steer into caramel/butterscotch territory implementing butter.

last week I used ginger tea to replace the decaf because I don't have sober behavior around creamy beverages. Today I tried some with peppermint tea.

Where does the Half & Half come in?  Is it added to the mixture before chilling or poured over after?

Either would be delightful. I have seen people make it black and add the half n half or cream. But when I made this I just mixed all together and it was good.
