Greetings everyone!

I've been carnivore since June 1, 2023 and during 2023 I managed to lose 100 lbs.  I know right?!?  But I still have probably 80 more to lose unless I add on a lot of muscle.  During 2024 I've found myself stuck on a plateau, still obese.  I am just now starting to break this plateau by maintaining a more strict ketovore diet.  I eat one meal a day on days that I do eat and that meal usually consists of 5 eggs and 1 lb of ruminant meat.  I still enjoy chili so sometimes that meat is done up chili style with appropriate spices, garlic, onion and some tomato paste and I also drink a lot of unsweetened naturally flavored sparkling water so that's why I say my diet is more ketovore.  Keep an eye out for my chili recipe!  I also practice alternate day fasting and currently my eating pattern is usually 47/1 or 71/1.  The waist size is finally starting to decline.

For exercise I walk.  A lot.  I usually go for 2 walks a day and cover over 10 km distance minimum.  For example yesterday I walked 23 km.  I need to get back into resistance training.

I follow all the good doctors on Youtube: Baker, Bikman, Chaffee, Cywes, Kiltz , Mason and Westman to name a few.

I hope to see you all more on the path to better health!

10 km = 6.2 miles. 23 km = 14.29 miles.

Wow! That is impressive! Welcome aboard, btw 🙂

Welcome aboard.
You’ve been carnivore for almost as long I’ve been carnivore. I starting in may of 23.
Last winter my wife wanted some of my venison my venison chili and I thought “what the heck, this is an elimination diet so let’s see if my chili is tolerable.” I had one small bowl. No onions, no cheese, no Fritos or corn bread. Even just plain it was delicious so I had another small bowl. Well I was miserable for the next three days. Well that is eliminated now.
