Fell off the wagon and starting back

Welcome back.

You got this and we're here to support you.

Restarting is alot easier as you've more knowledge and less apprehensive on do's and don'ts.

We're human and no one is perfect 👌..

Well you certainly are the first and you won’t be the last. It happens to many of us.
Now forget the mistake but remember the lesson. When the temptation arises try to remember how bad you felt when you cheated and how great you feel when you’re eating right.
I equate this to my tobacco addiction. After a 35 year addiction I’ve been clean for 18 years now. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I ever touch tobacco I’ll be hooked again and will probably never get off of it again. I can’t take that chance.
I look at my carb addiction the exact same way. If I eat that way again I’ll be hooked for life.
I worked hard to get rid of this addiction and I don’t ever want to go back to that glutinous lifestyle that was killing me again.
I am determined to not fail.
So stay in that mindset that you will not fail. Resist the cravings and fight them by eating fat. Cure your addiction so that you are in control and not it. This is a lifestyle that gives back health and life. You are in it for the long run so be strong and determined. You can do this.
Now go light the fire, burn the beast and be happy.

We do carnivore and we fell off the wagon and I gotta say it feels so much harder restarting clean then it was the first time. So it's day one all over again. Hope everyone is doing well.

Just starting the carnivore diet, so 6 days in so far.  You have to give yourself some grace.  This is a lifestyle change.   No one is perfect.  Take it day by day. I’m sure everyone has moments or times when things got relaxed too far.

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to both @Trish7899 and @Kbranford to our community!

I will agree that restarting is hard. It would take me several weeks to make my mind over and slowly get back into "diet mode" back when I was trapped in that pattern of yo-yo dieting.

Now I see it as a lifestyle instead of a diet. Any deviation has to be just a blip on the radar, because that's not my lifestyle anymore, nor do I want it to be ever again. "Carnivore for life" as they say.
