  1. Yesterday I had about a small half pound ribeye and three eggs for lunch at work. wasn't hungry for supper. Tonight I had a 12 oz strip and four eggs. Work seems to think I need to eat lunch or I will surely starve to death. 🙂 Tomorrow I plan on taking my lunch by going to the second hand store and shopping for some 36 inch waist pants. I think I'm about ready to downsize again. And maybe find a long lost chaffle maker...
  2. A 12 oz ribeye and 4 eggs scrambled. And the usual decaf coffee.
  3. I looked up Wally world online and saw they had one in stock at the store I'm closest to. And found one of them double irons. Put both on my wish lists. My local Wally world is 20ish miles away. I've been there three times this year. I don't venture out as far as I used to. But may make a trip soon as I heal up a bit. I watched vids last night on paffles and chaffles and such. ... I'll be getting one of them soon.
  4. I'm gonna havta find me one of them small waffle makers. I had a 11 and a half ounce can of corned beef and three eggs with some grated cheddar on top. It was simple And I didn't have to wade out in the rain to the freezer in the garage. Oh and the usual decaf with heavy cream.
  5. That's all I add to coffee. Heavy whipping cream or straight black. I used to drink sugar with a little coffee. Glad that phase is over. 🙂
  6. A slab of pork ribs and some grilled zucchini. Now having decaf with heavy cream.
  7. A pound of ground and three eggs scrambled. Cup of decaf with whipping cream.
  8. I gave up cigars about twelve years ago. My cat thought I was purring at night and I had to stop to catch my breath just walking up the boat ramp. Still to this day I get the urge every time I watch an old Clint Eastwood western. 🙂 I do dip some. A can lasts a week, I spect. I buy the tubs and it's sposta be equal to twelve cans. Lasts me a good three months. I had a cold/flu/etc back about seven weeks ago. I went caffeine and nicotine free for about a week. I'm still caffeine free. Which kinda sucks cause I got about two pounds of coffee beans. 🙂 I figure I'll give up the dip one of these days, when the time seems right.
  9. Pulled pork with butter. Again. At work there was a glitch of sorts with the smoked meats. I got to bring home four pans of pulled pork. Think I'm gonna freeze the last pan, cuz I'm missing beef.
  10. At the time I didn't know we had any here in Mo either. Till this gal came on board. Seems camels have quite a bit of history here in the states. I bet Geezy has camels in Texas.
  11. Did you know there's such a thing as a camel dairy? Used to be a gal on my forum that owned one and listed all the things it was good for. I came across it the other night and had forgot about it.
  12. Thanks! I stole it from my old forum.
  13. You were gettin close to me then. I'm in Mo. Not many pheasants here tho.
  14. Happy Birthday Bob!!! I too, feel better now than I did in my forties. And I'm in my sixties.
  15. Some bacon, 6 eggs scrambled with extra butter and blue cheese.
  16. Guess I forgot to post last night. My bad... Last night I had a one pound burger with blue cheese all over it. Today at work it was a 3 egg omelet. One of the eggs had a double yolk. Woohoo! that excites me more than finding a four leaf clover. Tonight I helped a neighbor work on a warshin machine. And his wife gave me a smoked chicken breast. She offered a baked tater and cream cheese corn. I said Naaa to that. And took the chicken home. Which I consumed.
  17. Them shrimp bacon wraps reminds me of earlier, I went by the store to pick up the blue cheese I had ordered. And the owner handed me a pork loin wrapped in bacon with a stick stuck in it. He called em pork pops. He was smoking a pan full . Was pretty good. I then went on to a private lake and caught some bass. The lake owner said he liked to bake the bass whole. I shared some blue cheese with him for the fish. And think I may try that in my little easy bake toaster oven. I had ribeye and a side of sausage links last night for supper. Hope y'all's havin a good weekend!
  18. Sounds like healthy fiber... 😁
  19. Was Centurylink, now Brightspeed. I don't recommend either. But is all we got, unless you want Hughesnet. Apparently Brightspeed bought out Centurylink. Ancient copper lines that were planted in the 80's. Came a long ways from party lines. 🙂 But still.... You've seen 174, you'll see it again.
  20. Judging by bout half the customers today, dementia is already here. 🤪 I know a couple folks that argue that if they're numbers are good, they can eat whatever they want. Those pills and/or shots give a false sense of security. Some day it'll catch up to them.
  21. Had an omelet at work and a burger at home. Put a request for blue cheese in at work. They don't carry it, but the owner picks me up a five pound bag of crumbles at my request. Brought home some ribeyes and hot sausage. Just got internet back again. if it'd went out one day earlier, it would a been three times it went out last month. Just a few more months and fiber will be here hopefully. I won't know what to do with 100 Mb download instead of 2.2Mb. 🙄 I even dialed the old dialup number just to see if it was still active. Nope! At least it was steady when I had it. Way to go Bob!
  22. Had sausage and eggs with butter at work. And ribs for supper.
  23. Since we're talking about butter, I got a story. ... One time some years ago, I was talking to an Amish friend about the high costs of a butter churn. He was getting annoyed with rolling a jar across the floor. 🙂 One day I was in the hardware store and noticed a paint stirrer and a light bulb went off in my head. I got said paint stirrer which had two metal horizontal paddles welded in the same direction. I got home and cut out two wooden paddles and screwed them vertically. Took a gallon glass jar and beefed up the lid with a one by cut to fit. Drilled a 1/4 inch hole. Drilled a couple teeny holes in the shaft for pins to adjust the height of said paddle. Hooked it up to a lectric drill and spun er up. Figured if it'd withstand an electric drill, it'd withstand a hand cranked one. Took it over to him and said you no longer have to roll a jar. 🙂 So we traded some butter for that three dollar paint stirrer. Somewhere I got a picture.. Probably on an old drive. If I come across it, I'll post it.
  24. Reminded me of one time trying to explain How one could afford to do keto and intermittent fasting to a gal. The whole concept was as clear as mud to her. Probably still is.
