  1. Some years back, I had a hankerin for chicken livers but didnt want to contend with the normal mess. Thought for sure there was a recipe for livers without flour and grease splatters. Came up with this one. Just dry fry them in a skillet. alil olive oil, some garlic and some lemon juice. I'll post a link. This was back before I was keto or carnivore or even knew what them words meant. But I think it could apply today to at least a ketovore diet. Or change it up to suit you. ...This is not my recipe. I just found it on the net. And tried it several times. https://www.food.com/recipe/stolen-garlic-chicken-livers-110936
  2. I did cook a steak in one, once. And it wasn't too bad. I had ran out of gas and it was that or the microwave for supper. I have one of them Black n Decker toaster ovens that has an air fryer setting. Big enough for anything I gonna cook.
  3. I don't eat out anymore. Being in a small town, the only choices we have is either a family restaurant or Casey's pizza and whatnot. I like my cooking just fine. Tonight I'm having all I can eat fish fried in bacon grease with just salt. It ain't bad. Matter of fact, a friend turned me on to boiled catfish dipped in melted butter. Perty good stuff, it is.
  4. If I may suggest only shooting for your long fasts on your days off. And you can sorta fool yourself by taking your electrolytes instead of a meal. Or a coffee or tea. Or even a glass of water. I usually only eat once a day, unless I'm at work. Work thinks I need to eat or I'll starve to death. 🙂
  5. I prefer dark meat on just about everything. And livers and beef hearts and tongue. ... Only had duck one time when I was a wee little feller and pretty sure my aunt had no idea what she was doing. (looking back) Seems like she boiled it and made some sorta gravy outta it. My first post. I think I might like it here. Reminds me of Forums of old. 🙂
