Your plant-based meat could soon have animal fat
I hate this movement. It’s so utterly ridiculous. Positive proof that vegetarians and vegans hate their own diet because the miss meat so bad they feel compelled to eat something that resembles meat. I’ve heard that they may even start cutting plant proteins into ground beef. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How is your day?
I wouldn’t expect any miracles. No longer that you’ve been back as carnivore you may not see any positive results. But everyone is different so who knows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Letter On Corpulence Addressed to the Public by William Banting [Files Library]
A pioneer way ahead of his time. It’s a wonder that we call our WOE a ketogenic diet and not a Banting diet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beef shortage
Seems to me I heard some little snippet about this. Not sure I hold much stock in it though. (If your in the cattle business you might have caught that pun [emoji6]) I don’t see it affecting me too much if there is any validity to it. I raise and hunt my own meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thoughts Coconut & C8 MCT Oil ?
I just watch a video on this very subject this morning. From what I do and from what I’ve learned from this video I don’t have any problems with using it. Dr. Sten Ekberg says that MCT OIL is good for helping us get into a ketosis state but that coconut oil is not as good at doing that. Either way neither is bad for us but neither is the best form of fat for us. I use one tablespoon of coconut oil in my bulletproof tea every morning. I only drink one cup each morning so I’m only getting that little bit of coconut oil each day. I use it because the recipe for bulletproof tea or coffee calls for either MCT oil or coconut oil. Since I have the coconut oil on hand I just use it. It gives the froth to my tea that I like. After watching that video I’m thinking about using MCT to see how I like it in my tea. I do not believe it does any harm. Here’s the video https://youtu.be/vo_5K9zBdJ0?si=KSu7VWtaXVvZIg8e Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hi

Welcome and congratulations Ignore the ignorant and stay true to yourself. You can be a good example as to the benefits of carnivore and if after that they choose remain ignorant then so be it. All that counts is your health, not their opinions. Sugar in everything, yes, that was a real eye opener for me as well when I first became carnivore. When I started reading labels looking for clean food I was surprised to see how many products had sugar but also all kinds of other ingredients that don’t belong in the human food chain. It sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the good work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not enough fat from meat
I don’t count the fat to protein ratios, I just make sure there’s animal fat in every thing I eat. My morning tea is bulletproof with better and coconut oil. Eggs are cooked in tallow, bacon grease or ghee. And meat I eat including chicken will be cooked in animal fats and have butter on it as a topping. Don’t just count the fat in the meat but also the fat it’s cooked in as well as anything you too it with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fell off the wagon...
I’ve been carnivore for 282 days now and I haven’t had any desire to cheat. Since this is a lifestyle and not a diet for me there just isn’t any such thing as a cheat for me. I have experimented though with trying to add non carnivore foods back in to see how I’d react but after the results weren’t positive I’ve determined that staying a strict carnivore best for me. I’ve never heard of resetting your ketones, didn’t know that was a thing. But if that works for you and others that’s great. I get it. Reminds me when I did Adkins nearly 20 years ago, some people, when they would hit a stall or plateau would have a cheat day to try and shock the system to get things rolling again. I just can’t bring myself to do that.
