  1. This. I just visited the USS Albacore last month and I was highly anxious by the time I got through it. I can't comprehend how you guys manage. But I appreciate that you do!
  2. Are you using your own basket? Those k cups are putting plastic in your body.
  3. Mt Hagen instant actually tastes better than regular drip Folgers or MH imo.
  4. No pressure! You probably won't realize the difference until you add it back. I drink just d caf everything, or water, and everything time I drink it, usually on a Saturday afternoon, it always gets me.
  5. Hi Nani, So glad you are here! Sorry to hear of your recent pain and discomfort, I hope it passes quickly. Sometimes we can feel crappy because of the following: 1. oxalates. Sometimes they can give us a hard time (for sometimes) after we give them up. 2. Gut biome. (like @Geezy spoke of) 3. Electrolytes 4. Too much fat in a certain period of time. ( Fat is great and we should eat a fatty meat diet, but too much all at once and we might not have enough bile to tolerate it) you may need to add more fat gradually to your daily regimen.
  6. This past weekend, I had some office work to catch up on so I had a cup of coffee. I felt it would help me stay lazer focused on my task and it delivered. The down side was the next day, waking up to sore muscles and not feeling as spry on my walk in the woods. What are your thoughts, opinions and experiences, with coffee? Share them here.
  7. Welcome to the community, Inky! I have unflavored Re-lyte from Redmond on hand but I actually use it only occasionally. Sometimes I season broth with it. And I might use it if I had been sweating a lot. I have never had the reaction to the level you did, but I have felt excess twitching after taking them. I would say, save them for if you are feeling weak or have a headache.
  8. This must be so melt in your mouth! DH and I got a smoker about a month ago but we haven't read the instructions yet. This is some motivation!
  9. One major (silent but deadly) consequence I can think of is, the mindset of the near miss. In driving, when people narrowly avoid accidents it only serves to embolden the more aggressive and poor choices behind the wheel. So, if you ate some garbage and your feet didn't fall off the next day; you may be tempted to think, well a little cant hurt here and there. Until you, do it a little bit more, and a little bit more until you realize your not even close to being a carnivore anymore. Just a thought.
  10. I'll leave this here. Leave it to Dunkin's to eff-up bacon. I went in with some coworkers today and they all ordered something called "snackin bacon" I tried it. Why on earth would they slather some gooeey sugary sap on it? That's how they add the additive properties.
  11. I have been listening to the "Big Fat surprise" by Nina T. It is helping get over fear of fat!

  13. Yesterday, after the procedure, I had scrambled eggs. For dinner I had two blade steaks and then some yogurt.
  14. This is fascinating, thanks for keeping us posted! How are you doing otherwise?
  15. Plain cream on top yogurt Scrambled eggs Stew meat Fried eggs Decaf
  16. half a burger patty with butter Decaf Several hard boiled eggs Stew meat and fries. Club soda
  17. Today I mashed butter into hot hard boiled yolks. I saw Courtney, on M.E. Lion/YouTube recommends this because it tastes and feels like mashed potatoes. I boiled eggs this morning just to have on hand and some were cracked open so I thought, why not? It was soooo so good!
  18. Yesterday Dinner was the remainder of the beef stroganoff soup. Fried eggs and sausage links. Ham and Swiss omelette
  19. This seems like an okay place to put this. I haven't had chronic health diagnosis that involve debilitating pain or medication so sticking to Carnivore has been a challenge for me. My why is the future, my longevity, quality of life, and avoiding the things mentioned above. I turned 50 last year so I have had some previews of what's to come if I remain motionless and continue on the broad path. This morning as I was tempted to eat one of the expertly crafted bananas pancakes on the table in front of me, I tried to envision them as farts and brain fog.
