Today is the day I'm 2 weeks into this change.

I'm excited to meet you all. I've never felt this good.

I'm curious, how long did it take for everyone's bowel movements to normalize?

Welcome to CT Joel.
while it can vary for everyone the average time seems to be two weeks to a month. In my case it took 30 days.
As your gut biome transitions over to digesting only fat and meat it will get better and you’ll be better for it.

Welcome. And congrats on the first two weeks.

The majority of the diet will fall every individualistic.

For me, I didn't have any issues in the beginning. Once I started adjusting the fat content up then I started getting loose.

I have been on the diet just over 8 months. If I feel a little loose I will cut some fat. If I feel like I'm a little constipated I up the fat, usually with butter.

It is almost like a constant adjustment.

Hello and welcome. The bowel movements may last a while, from 2 weeks to two month, I'd say. You really want to track what you eat so you can see what does what. You'll see quickly if you eat too much fat, or protein.

For me it was about 6 weeks. I would go for DAYS without having to go. Sometimes I would even think I have to go, sit down, and nothing would happen (Phantom poopie, lol). The longest stretch was 9 days without a bowel movement. When I did have bowel movements, it was unpredictable whether it was going to be diarrhea or if it was going to have the consitency of driveway gravel.

But eventually everything returned to my *new* normal, which is having a normal movement typically 3 times a week - ish.
