No, I don’t. Children should be taught the basic skills to function in life and for being productive members of society. Art like music or athletics is something that is an entertainment and not necessary for making one’s way through life. It is also a skill that requires a certain aptitude that many don’t have. I don’t have an artistic bone in my body and to subject me to a mandatory art class would have been torture. Now shop class? That’s a different story. I excelled at building things. So much so that I became a precision aircraft mechanic specializing in custom modifications. I like to build things. So the arts need to be something that is an elective only for those who have the desire to learn that discipline. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Negative feedback loop
Geezy replied to Miranda's topic in Everyday Chit Chat & Off-topic Discussion
I hear you Miranda, I experimented with some venison chili back in the winter and I was miserable for three days. Don’t know it was the tomato or the spices but that’s off my list forever. It’s good to know what your limitations are. Back when I was a heavy drinker I used to say that “Every once in awhile I gotta get drunk just to remind myself why I shouldn’t do that anymore.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

5 months on carnivore and need help
Geezy replied to srichards77's topic in Greetings and Introductions
I’m in the process of reading Toxic Superfoods by Sally K Norton. In it I just read this morning the numerous different ways that oxalate overload can affect our bodies. One of those ways is in achey joints. Many of the symptoms you describe seem to fit in with oxalate overload. It can take years for the body to process them out of us and judging by how many of them that are in our bodies from the years of eating the SAD it’s no wonder we sometimes have issues even after we’ve been carni for awhile. 5 months on carnivore and need help
Geezy replied to srichards77's topic in Greetings and Introductions
Welcome and congratulations on your success so far. I developed a few rashes that came and went on my wrists at about the six month mark. A heartbeat of 65 is perfectly normal. As I’m typing this mine is 60. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Lamb fajitas minus the grilled onions and peppers. Instead of brushing the Egglife wraps with butter and then toasting them in the skillet I brushed them with lamb fat left over from cooking the lamb skirt steak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 1,369 replies

If I wasn’t such a big bad he-man biker dude I’d almost cry. I have been a carnivore for 380 days now and as of today my cardiologist has taken me off of my last heart medication. He says I’ve done more to heal myself than anything he could have done for me. If I’m still doing good in six more months he will take me off of his patients list. Carnivore truly heals. I’m so happy. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s no wonder that area is so flat and humid because there’s four bayou’s in that area. The area growth down there has encroached on the bayou’s to the point that now everyone there’s a big rain they flood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

🤔 What Are Your Thoughts On Grounding? 🤔
Geezy replied to Carnivore Club's topic in General Health and Wellness Discussion
Everything I’ve seen on grounding has been about actual touching the natural world around us. Mainly getting our bare feet in dirt and grass and getting our hands in the soil. I’ve read that touching anything artificial is not grounding so how could a mat and pillowcase be considered grounding? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Made a batch of carnivore pancakes with venison breakfast sausage in the batter. That wasn’t enough so I had a chicken breast drowned in butter and salt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 1,369 replies

Seed Oils, Avoid Them If You Want Optimal Health.
Geezy replied to Geezy's topic in Articles & Resources
Good advice. I answer direct questions. If challenged I’m ready to defend my position but generally when someone notices the improvements in me I just simply say “Thank you.” No one really want to hear what I believe and if they do then they will ask directly. In the beginning I was so excited about how mind blowing the transformation through carnivore was that I felt the need to tell people but I soon realized that they really didn’t care. I’ve had a couple of people that did ask specifics and were genuinely interested and they both asked for more information so I gave them resources. One I know for sure has changed their life around but I don’t know if the other has. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Seed Oils, Avoid Them If You Want Optimal Health.
Geezy replied to Geezy's topic in Articles & Resources
Once I learned the truth about seed oils I avoid them as much as possible. I now use only animal fats, some MCT oil and once in a great while a fruit oil to season my cast iron. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Seed Oils, Avoid Them If You Want Optimal Health.
Geezy replied to Geezy's topic in Articles & Resources
Quite often we don’t even know we are sick until we start to heal. You can’t escape a prison if you don’t even know you’re in one. I believe that he’s saying in the article that we should not trust what he says but that we should read it and search out the truth for ourselves. Doctors don’t know the truth because they never read the studies themselves and just pass on what they were told. He’s just suggesting that we don’t do the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Welcome Moomba, fellow Texan here. I about 220 miles north of you but I’m originally from San Antonio. I did very well with Atkins myself but you’re right, those Adkins treats were part of my downfall. It’s funny that you started May 9. That’s my start date as well only last year. I’ve now been carnivore for 377 days. I also developed a heart issue but not as severe as yours but I know that carnivore is the best diet for my health. It’s helped me in so many ways. Besides all of the things that I’ve healed I also lost 55 pounds. The first thirty days there was a few issues but they resolved themselves as I transitioned and became fat adapted. Nobody but me does carnivore but my wife is supportive and does do a relaxed keto. No body around me makes fun of me. I’m sure they are all skeptical and probably talk behind my back but I don’t care. I’m doing this for me, not them. They darn sure don’t want to try to debate me on the subject because I’ll bury them with facts and they can’t back up anything that they may try to bring forth. Do hesitate to ask questions, that’s what we’re here for. Good luck and good health.

Why Keto & Carnivore?
We believe that a proper, all natural human diet should be meat-based, whether that's a keto, ketovore, or carnivore lifestyle. You will thrive on most nutrient dense foods on the planet, lose weight, and possibly reverse disease and chronic illnesses, so why not give this a try?
