After eating the heart and liver, there's a lot of muscle meat still to go.

Don't forget lungs,intestines and brain.

I have yet to try brains but add a little hot sauce it should be good.

The cheeks on a flathead is to die for.
I have not tried fish head soup yet. I do like boiled catfish dipped in butter. Probably the same but different.

Ok brother you’re gonna have to tell me more about this. I fish mainly for catfish but I never heard of boiling it and dipping it in butter.

I watched Bill Goudy do it on youtube. He's and outdoorsy lowcarb feller up on the Mississippi river. We've chatted a bit back an forth. I had to try it myself. Just chunk up a catfish. Boil it till done but still firm. And dip in melted butter. It's ever bit as good as he said it was. I can probably find his video if you want it.

Anyhow, it was good enough I still do it everso often.

Geoff, just reviewed your video on No Carb Life and learned from a carnivore nutritionist that vitamin C is an excellent solution for constipation that's been a problem for you. Take 2-5 grams (2000-5000mg) a day to find your range that works for you. You can take a lot of it so don't worry. Dr. Zoe Harcombe is a brilliant source for all nutrition carnivore. Just wanted to pass that along. - Bill

I was on the road yesterday and talking with my wife about this video and it dawned on me that I could take this up another notch. I was coming back from Louisiana and I love Cajun food and especially crawfish and it hit me, don’t just boil the catfish but use crawfish boil seasoned water just like you would with crawfish.
My next mess of cars I’m gonna try this.

Yeah, you can season it like crawfish. I've heard folks making spoonbill fit to eat by boiling it like crawfish. lol

In some of Bills other vids, he boils bluegill and drum. He said carp is too mushy boiled. I've only tried catfish.

Wow! That video is still circulating? That’s cool.
I appreciate the advice on vitamin C.
It’s been awhile since that video interview and in that time my system seems to have started to straighten out on its own. Taking a magnesium complex was helping but in the last month I haven’t need it. So I’m hoping I may finally be normal.
But I will definitely keep your recommendation on file incase things turn back the other way.

    • "Marching into March with Much Motivation"

For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month. Get in the habit now, and we just might have beach bodies when summer officially hits, lol.

Just like before, we encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.

The March drawing will be for a 4-pack of Carnivore Bars!

Every Reply in this topic will count as an entry for this month's prize drawing. Back-to-back posts count as 1 entry as a counter to spamming.

Attending Monday night zoom also counts as a bonus entry. Being a supporter of our YouTube channel also gives you an entry.

    • Today is February 1st and marks the first day of "National Fasting February" - and yes, this is a thing. Google it!

For this month's challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to practice various forms of fasting throughout the month. The type of fasting you wish to do is entirely up to you. We are going to encourage INTERMITTENT FASTING, that is to put it simply, skipping a meal so that you are only eating 2 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day. The goal is to enjoy these meals within an 8 hour "feasting window" and then no food in the remaining 16 hours "fasting window" (in which 8 of those hours you should be sleeping).

An example is waking up at 7am, but waiting until 11am-noon for your first meal, and then having dinner at 6-7pm for your 2nd meal. Other people prefer to eat a breakfast, then a mid-day lunch, and skip dinner.

If you want to throw in a 24, 48, or 72 hour fast just to show off by all mean do so, lol.
