This past weekend, I had some office work to catch up on so I had a cup of coffee. I felt it would help me stay lazer focused on my task and it delivered. The down side was the next day, waking up to sore muscles and not feeling as spry on my walk in the woods. 

What are your thoughts, opinions and experiences, with coffee? Share them here.

My opinion is it’s a plant derivative that isn’t needed for our nutrition but that’s easy to say coming from someone who has given it up. 
For those who are still addicted to coffee or tea it’s life. 
Many carnivores, probably most, have no problems with it but it’s not optimal and just because one is tolerant of the toxins doesn’t mean they aren’t doing some harm in some way. 
Whole I was struggling with Crohn’s disease (pre carni) my gastroenterologist had me get off of coffee and I did for a month. After a started carnivore and cured my Crohn’s I tried coffee again and found I had lost my taste for it so I switched to tea. I still felt the need for that morning caffeine hit. One morning I noticed that I was out of tea so I fixed a cup of coffee. Not only did it not taste good but it made me sick to my stomach for three days. I’ll never drink it again. 
I drank tea for almost a year but eventually decided that it was just another plant that I didn’t need in my diet and it was the last addiction I had in my life so I decided it was finally time to completely free myself of the last plant and the last thing that had control over me. 
Well that’s not entirely true. My Lord and my wife still have control over me but thanks a good thing.

I am still drinking coffee out of habit and the taste.  I probably will do coffee fast = no coffee for 30 days to see how it makes me feel.

No pressure! You probably won't realize the difference until you add it back. I drink just d caf everything, or water, and everything time I drink it, usually on a Saturday afternoon, it always gets me.

Yup I don't like wasting stuff. 

My rubbish bin is 48 gallon and we barely fill it 1/4 every 2 weeks that's including cardboard and such until they deliver our recycle cart Dec. 😑

And tea is very high in oxalates.

Back in February, I quit caffeine to see if it would lower my BP.  Apparently not. Went 3 months caffeine free. Green tea, Folgers Decaf, other herb teas. ... But I still had about two pounds of coffee beans. So after no noticeable difference in my BP, I would occasionally hand grind enough for a cup. .... I find I really enjoy freshly ground beans, the smell and a freshly pressed cup. Mmmmm. 🙂  
I have a couple single serve French presses and a 32 ounce one that I haven't used in a long time. ... I also enjoy some Earl Grey loose leaf tea. 

I also carry a small pot when I go fishing so I can enjoy a cup whilst sitting on the bank. ... It's the simple things in life. 🙂

I am trying to get there. Not the 20 ounces, but the decaf. It's in my pantry, and occasionally I stare at it. And I say: "Not today, Satan!". And I slam the door shut.

Hello and good evening, the one thing that I love is coffee and tea, even know that I just started, I have noticed that I do feel like I am dragging the next day and over tired. I have heard from some videos I just recently watch that some can take coffee, and some can't. And also, what do you put in your coffee, sometimes the cream may be the culprit too. I thought about that after watching one of the videos from the Drs. IKD? For me it is hard, I love the taste of coffee, I have never liked pastry's and such and now well I wouldn't eat it even if I could, didn't before butt know I won't but the coffee, the one thing is I tried adding butter today, and it was creamy, but added a tad of sugar, decided today maybe I should just stop with the coffee and acclimate to this and try again or just give it up. Will see, but would like to read and find out more too.

I have coffee with butter and a packet of stevia. Takes some time to get used to, but it's no carb. Sometimes coffee with coconut oil, a little bit more silky, allowing more of the coffee flavor, also with stevia. Carnivore for almost a year now. No problem. I would not worry too much about the coffee, but try to replace the sugar with stevia. The sugar is the "issue" here. For obvious reasons.

Do what you want but I would first get yourself fully entrenched in this lifestyle before dealing with the caffeine withdrawals. 
Many carnivores drink coffee and do just fine on it. Some find that it hinders their progress. So if it’s not causing any issues in you then don’t worry about it for now.

I agree with @Geezy that you might not want to do all the things all at once. For me, when I gave up the regular coffee I noticed muscle pain and tightness I had had since I started drinking it in my early twenties went away and come back immediately with just one cup.
