"Marching into March with Much Motivation"

For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month. Get in the habit now, and we just might have beach bodies when summer officially hits, lol.

Just like before, we encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.

The March drawing will be for a 4-pack of Carnivore Bars!

Every Reply in this topic will count as an entry for this month's prize drawing. Back-to-back posts count as 1 entry as a counter to spamming.

Attending Monday night zoom also counts as a bonus entry. Being a supporter of our YouTube channel also gives you an entry.

Let's keep our resolutions going strong!

Ok, I'm in. I've been studying today - taking breaks to do jump squats, wall sits, planks and a few others.

Just added another long walk, including about 5-7 15-20 second sprints. Total steps for the day, over 10,000.

Walked a mile and a half yesterday.
Today I’m fixing to go clean my hunting gear off of my weight bench and lift some weights. Going to be interesting to see how weak I’ve gotten.

Im so weak Geezy,  but I don't care right now.  Im just sprinting and lifting what I can every day.  My muscles are responding.  Im mainly focused on loosing another 10 lbs.

I hear you. You just have to do what you can do. Start small and build up to it.

I worked last night and then lifted this morning.

My plan was to go light and just get in some work. This would get me at least three days in the gym this week.

I bumped into one of my dad's friends from way back. He is in his late 70's and when I was kid he was a lifting monster, benching around 500lbs. He is still at it dropping knowledge on the younger lifters. As we talked and caught up as we moved thru the workouts before I knew it I had put in a super hard session.

I did the 3 mile walk when I got home from the gym managed to run maybe a 1/4 to half mile of that. I only had enough gas to get in about 40 pushups today.

I crashed around lunch time and just got up. I'm already sore and tight from the 'light session' I had in mind.

I guess motivation can come from almost anything.

Yeah, lol. I bought it for a steal though.

Around the time I bought it, the kids were switching rooms, and the spare room was filled with their junk as the transitional room while we painted, carpeted, etc. Then the daughter up and moved out (on unagreeable terms) and it took forever for her to come get her stuff. Now that it's gone, I do have a spare room, which will be my exercise room. But the weather hadn't been agreeable much this winter to move it from the garage to the house. All that changes this week. 🙂

No more excuses haha. Let's get mean and lean!

My walk Monday wasn’t too inspiring but the next day I did feel better.
I hit the weights yesterday and once the energy kicked in I really got motivated. I put in a pretty good workout.
Today I was pleasantly surprised because I expected to be sore as all get out but it’s really not that bad. Just a little stiffness and a small amount of soreness. On my walk this morning I felt like I had more pep in my step and felt like I was standing taller.
Tomorrow I’m going to leave the weights alone and just do body exercises.

I’ve been thinking about one of those weighted vests but I don’t know if my prosthetic hip could handle it.
I wasn’t able to get a workout in today, just too danged busy but I’ll definitely get my walk in mañana.

I took the weekend off. Needed to recover but I’m motivated to get to walking tomorrow.
When my wife and I were walking one of my neighbors stop us to talk and he’s interested in starting carnivore and asked if he could start walking with us. I’m excited about that.
