Will the carnivore diet work for someone with pancreatic insufficiency?

Lots of variables. The inability to process fats would off-set the carnivore approach. I do infusions as well as my IgG numbers were off the charts at one time. I have NMO-SD which has required Ritux

This is complicated. Is your pancreas struggling to produce amylase (for starch), lipase (for fats), protease (for protein), or all three? It's very likely that you will need to supplement one or more
Hi-- I am new to the idea of carnivore, and considering dropping most/all of my plant foods. I am 6 months into a low oxalate diet (via SallyKNorton .com) and finding that I am probably pushing too hard as my liver enzymes have shot way up. (ALT at 42, and AST at 75.)
I am on 1,500 of Viokace every 3 weeks paid for by my ins. Fats have always been questionable, (no butter or bacon) , but I have found this past 6 mos that I can culture 1/2 and 1/2 into kefir and can sneak some fat into my system with that I hope hits the same category as butter. I have a primary immune condition: (CVID), and get 4 hr IGG infusions every 3 wks paid 100% by ins. Doing very well with all of this going on, but want to pave the way for optimal successful oxalate clearing. I may end up transitioning in thru the GAPS diet-- or I have used the Elemental diet in the past to clear things out. Any thoughts? I have very supportive MD's-- but can;t afford much outside the system. Thanks! SQ
