Same concept as standing on a rubber stool will protect you from electricity but if you stepped off the rubber stool onto the ground you would get fried.

Deep fried, I'd gather.

Never heard the term. But at the same time never looked into the carnivore diet til recently. I can't see the benefits but I have not delved into any of the science either.

I remember as a kid I was faster without shoes, so I know there is at least one benefit to grounding. LOL Maybe not the actual intent but that was the first thing I thought of when I started reading.

I have been on a medicine for the last two to three years, and it is a taken as needed prescription for inflammation and some pain and discomfort in my upper back. The last two nightshift rotations I have not needed the pills at all. I have been on the carnivore diet app. 5 weeks and if you had told me changing my diet to "carnivore" would drop 30 pounds and stop the need for the pills I would pretty much have said you are 'bat shit crazy'.

But here I am.

I’m not sure that your grounding is the same as what we are talking about.

I see it as the same. You all are just addressing one end of the spectrum. I am at the other. Let us consider it is the same only you are speaking of more physical effects while I am aware of how it effects you spiritually and perhaps psychologically.

That is interesting that blood pressure can drop. I'd like to eliminate a prescription. But I do feel it in my throat as opening up and relaxing but more like awake and ready without tension. The mind is clear and balanced.

One reason I went straight to this perspective in my response is that the physical aspect is common knowledge supported by science and not a subjective opinion, at least I have thought so since maybe high school which is 50 years back.

I can grok that.

This reminds me of how I would get physically distressed when walking by the power substation. It drove me nuts. I had a friend whose mother always got headaches and they found cancer. there house was really close to the power lines.
