If you watch the alone series they basically do the carnivore life style to stay motivated, healthy and aware.

Alot of the cast come from animal, and plant survival.

Its very interesting esp when you know a naysayer of this lifestyle.

I watched the first one as I knew a couple of the youtubers that were in it. It's definitely a good weight loss program. lol 

Is that the show on the History Channel that's 8 seasons and counting so far?

I never heard of it, but I just Google'd it. @ol_hilly's comment made me think this was a YouTube series.

Yes it is on the history channel and I think it is in the 11th season.

Its a survival competition and I don't think it is scripted so it makes it better.

They are not allowed to bring food and they move locations every season.

I do know that alot of the cast members from the show are survivalists and teachers and several have YouTube videos to share their experiences.

 

In my younger days I would have been all about trying to get on that show. I’ve done a lot of survival/wilderness training and living off the land. I’ve been an outdoorsman all of my life. I’ve only seen some snippets of the show but seeing how emotional they seem to get really turns me off but I guess they need that for drama or the show would get too boring. They would get bored with me because I’d just be living my life as I always have. I’m perfectly at home in the wilderness as I am in my own living room.

I said the same thing. It is one of those shows where I think I could compete. 

A friend of mine swears he could win it no problem. He is a recovering addict and he said he needed X amount of crack and a place to sit down. He had went many days without eating and when high he had no fears of the mountain lions nor the grizzly bears, they talk about.

He says he could win the money, get high and ask if they wanted to go double or nothing.
