61 year old male soon to retire
The word weight is really just too broad for this very reason. In the beginning you lose a lot of water/liquids as your body is less likely to hold onto water. Also, with inflammation decreasing, adds a reason for your body to hold on to water as meat is extraordinary less inflammatory as carbohydrates. Weight can be muscle, fat, or "water". One needs to know what they're exactly losing.

11 months Carnivore: Financial limitations and lack of results.
High protein, just not bio-available. A pork chop would do fine. And I've eaten my share of beans over the decades... protein shakes, etc. Bloat city.

Need a carnivore supportive Nephrologist in Florida
Today I learned what a nephrologist is. I wish I could help with a recommendation but do not live in FLA. Good luck.

my first real negative carnivore issue.
I have about 5 pair of pants I cannot fit anymore, too big. Mind you I only went from size 32 to 29. But having low body fat, those pants are just not comfortable anymore. I can still wear them, and no one will be the wiser, but I just like good fitting clothes. I also went from M size to S and had to replace some shirts. Asking for a friend, what size boots are those?? 😆

The LMNT Controversy
It's why I just favor separate supplements, which I take as I need.

If you happen to draw me, I would like you to draw again, so somebody else can take the prize. I really was just making conversation in this thread, no prize needed for me.

I don't do OMAD. Can't shovel it all in, in one meal. 2 or 3 meals a day.

I am sure this quote is from Nemo. I responded to that post. I also think it's all in jest, as I know very well what it is like to not walk. Fortunately never had gout, sounds painful.

Bowel Movements
It changes once you're fully fat adapted. I am dropping prime dookie, smooth as a nuclear submarine, don't even have time to see what's what on my phone.

Do you live in a small town? or is this the norm in Sweden? Surely you gotta have plenty of fish, right?

Bowel Movements
In the very beginning that happened to me. I wasn't concerned as I was feeling fine.

Has anyone seen improvements with allergies since starting/ being on Carnivore?
The one thing I've noticed since I started, I haven't been sick over a year. I have no allergies to speak of.

Extremely exhausted -going into week 4
Bigger meals, fattier meat. Chicken and pork rinds should be considered a supplement to a meal. You will figure it out. You're still in a transitional period. This is the time to find out how bad you've eaten all those years lol. Good luck!

"World Carnivore Month" January Challenge!
In The Netherlands it works like that as well. Lots of vacation, sick days, everything taken care of, but high taxes, etc. That indeed is separate from quality. But within the EU you have regulations that make food safer and better, and there is a cost involved.

Having eating on both sides of the pond, this is absolutely true. Perhaps why the prices differ also.
