Just curious on what your take on Spam (in a can) is?

Someone shared a picture of their breakfast over in the private PHD group, which consisted of 3 slices of fried spam and some eggs. I've never had spam, but have considered it. When I looked at the ingredients, I saw that it contained a little modified corn starch, likely as a binder. Does this bother anybody or is the amount simply trivial and not worth worrying about (much like the trace "sugar" in bacon)?

Who hurt the person that made this?

Side note, I had spam once in my life, it was okay. However, the one that gave it to me was my aunt who was considered a hardcore cheapstake. She would raise sand if you didnt do the whole "Turn the water off if you're not rinsing your body off" in the shower thing. Because of this, my family associated spam with like...'poor' food?

Maybe i'll find some recipes for it one day, it's apparently a delicacy in Hawaii. I'm thinking of slowly starting my carnivore/keto journey this week. Most of my diet composes of meat anyway, i just have to cut out all the other useless stuff

Great idea. Carnivore Claire YouTube channel just did an excellent video about starting slow. And all the pitfalls of starting out to watch out for.

Not pineapple on pizza??

I really enjoy pineapple on a pizza. I've never understood the hatred that some people have for doing that.

We make KETO pizza's using zero(net) carb tortillas.

Pineapple has its place on a pizza, yes. It just doesn't have a place in my stomach no more lol. But for the record, I was team pineapple.

Pineapple on pizza was okay. Nothing special. I prefer spicy over sweet, so my typical pizza toppings were bacon, banana peppers, tomato, and feta cheese sprinkles, plus artichoke hearts of they had them.

I admittedly miss pizza, but I just lack self-control. I WILL eat the whole pie, no matter how stuffed I am half way through it. I can't stop.

If I were to treat myself to a pizza like meal again, it would be using the fat boy crust with almond flour, eggs, and shredded cheese. It was a decent replica, and I posted about it on here a couple years ago. Alternatively, I might do a search for a carnivore pizza crust, because carnivore recipes have come a long way in the last couple years.
