I’ve noticed several newcomers to this lifestyle tend to get confused about what they can eat or get bored with just eating the same old thing over and over and then there’s some that just don’t have much imagination around food and in the kitchen.

Well this is a thread for everyone to post what they eat each day.

It doesn’t matter if it’s something you eat day in and day out or if it’s something that’s unique but still in the spectrum of carnivore, post it up. It may help inspire someone to stick with their diet plan and reach their goals by introducing something new to their diet.

So, What did you eat today?

Hello, Looking for carnivore community. Thank you for this forum. Cooked a chuck roast, so I heated a portion to eat. Drank broth. Considering flexibility to eat is hungry instead of OMAD. Back on carnivore with this Day 2. Major carb cravings. Thanks for being here. Increased sleep satisfaction. It sure helps me.

It’s a journey stay strong and be committed.
Why are you doing carnivore? It’s important to know your motivation.
We are here to support you in any way we can so lean on us as you need to.
To help with the cravings do not restrict what you eat. If you are craving eat more fatty meat. Keep some meat such as bacon or burger patties or strips of steaks cooked up and in the fridge for a quick snack if you need to suppress a craving. At this point don’t worry about how much you eat. Just get past the addiction and then we can focus on the amount.

hello everyone, so today is day three for me. Thank you for the posts. I had forgotten. I could snack on bacon so I did this saved me from getting fixated and helped me move on away from food. Thank you.

today for me is day three. I heated the last of my first chuck roast and I'm planning my next grocery visit. I should be good with me for another two weeks. I still have eggs. I need some bacon and maybe some more bacon this community is great Support. Thank you. Have a good rest your day. Mine might have some eggs and bacon. Cheers, Valerie.

I used to miss sauces , seasonings and dressings sooo much at the beginning of my carnivore journey! It's amazing how l now enjoy the simple taste of meat, butter, eggs and salt! without needing anything else!

Tonight is NY Strips. I'm redundant, lol.

However, Taco Bell brought back the Mexi-Melt, which I used to absoutely adore. So I made a carnivore-friendly carnivore-ish version at home the other night using Egg Life Wraps and a little pico de gallo.

I moved these to the "What did you eat today?" topic, instead of the "Adaptive Glucose Sparing" topic.

Here we call those Tablitas. I call them bone in bacon. 😋

Best when cooked over a wood fire.

Hello, Today I have eaten my one intentional meal-a portion of chuck roast slow cooked last night. Drank the broth and cooked it in the tallow. Seems super easy and tasty. Have to say I have started to enjoy the flat water over the fuzzy water. Tested self with diet coke and tasted nothing appealing only the memory of thinking it was appealing. Today's reality "yuck." Yesterday fell to the convenience of ordering delivery with the promise of eating only the processes meat and cheese of the sandwich secretly thinking I'd taste only a litte of the bread. Ate the chips and skipped the bread. A half victory. Better than a complete binge. No side effects beyond a couple of bouts with restless leg, just jiggly no pain. Managed appropriate exercise as recommended. That's half a day behind me. Off to document it.

Hang in there Valerie. Plan ahead to succeed and have precooked meats on hand for those times when you just don’t feel like cooking.
Be determined to succeed and you will.
