I’ve noticed several newcomers to this lifestyle tend to get confused about what they can eat or get bored with just eating the same old thing over and over and then there’s some that just don’t have much imagination around food and in the kitchen.

Well this is a thread for everyone to post what they eat each day.

It doesn’t matter if it’s something you eat day in and day out or if it’s something that’s unique but still in the spectrum of carnivore, post it up. It may help inspire someone to stick with their diet plan and reach their goals by introducing something new to their diet.

So, What did you eat today?

I tried the hamburger pickle wraps with dill/ranch dip. Oh my goodness! These were so good!

While not really carnivore those look really good for those who are keto. The author of that doesn’t quit understand carnivore.

Santa came early and brought me my choice of blue cats. I just took two and dressed them. This evening I had a couple filets with pork panko, fried in bacon grease. I'll have the rest boiled with butter.

One of the old girls that comes in the store brought me a quart of pickled quail eggs.

Good eatin right there. I’ve got some pickled quail eggs in my fridge myself.

I went to the local butcher the other night and got me some grass fed NY Strips. I was hoping to get some liver but they were actually sold out.

But I did get something unique - Deer bratwursts that have a touch of jalapeno and cherries in them. So they have a couple carbs per link as a result but the combination sounded very intriguing. I will be trying them tomorrow.

When I have a deer processed I’ll get some German sausage made with jalapeño and cheese. Good stuff.

Hello, some people won't have ears to hear or eyes to see--myself included 😞  I can try this moment to choose better for myself but might not. I want a cookie...none in the house. Just last afternoon ready to argue with a kind person who was defending vegetables as a way of health because she had training from a textbook by scientists. Thinks she is following the money. Money is so deceptive because you must have it to get a credible voice. So condemned for pursuing even if for good reason. Around and around it goes.

Fastest ways to "close my ears,"  say "try my app" all I hear is "download my tracker and let me invade your privacy."  Oh, and " try more plants."

So I have ate off plan on Saturday... because it was the wife and I's 24th wedding anniversary.

We went to a fancy-shmancy restaurant called the Rosewood Grill and spent way too much money on dinner, which is the appropriate thing to do on an anniversary so no big deal, lol. She had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and I had the shrimp and scallops over a bed of risotto (creamy rice) and I got butternut squash on the side.

Since we made our reservation through Open Table, they knew it was our anniversary and "suprised" us with a dessert, which was a slice of brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top drizzled in fudge and caramel, with a lit candle in it, lol.

I did eat the ice cream, but I took one bite of the brownie and immediately determined I wasn't going to go there. It was so freakin' rich that even the one bite made me feel nauseous. I was never a chocolate guy, even before.

Our anniversary is usually the only time of year I go to dinner knowing I am not eating a proper human diet, lol.

My girls surprised us with dinner at The Outback when we had our 44th wedding anniversary at the beginning of December. I had steak and baked potato ... we also had the bloomin' onion. I haven't been to The Outback for probably 10 years or so - I'm pretty sure they used to use a much bigger onion for that appetizer

If you are finding temptations overwhelming you then you are probably underrating.

I think he meant undereating

And eating until you are comfortably stuffed will certainly help you mount a strong defense against cravings. I personally couldn't survive on a ribeye a day (12oz-16oz precooked weight). If I were to do OMAD, I would have to feast, lol.

Hello, I am convinced undereating + willful disobedience are factors. Thank you. I have plenty of egg and other real food to eat. Have to laugh. Today is day 21 and utuber Kent Carnivore just posted a video about how day 21 seems to be a milestone. Well can't deny that. Still, the journey is just starting; do not want to go back; still cranky about going forward. Thanks for being here.
