Hunting season has started in Texas and it kicked off with dove season. It’s kind of a state holiday around here.

Opening day was a little slow as it took me all day to get my limit of 15 but if I wasn’t such a bad shot it wouldn’t have taken so long. Lol!
Got rained out the second day but I’m going out hunting again Friday and Saturday so we’ll see if things pick up.
I’ll also be chasing hogs while I’m out there as well so if the dove are scarce then maybe the hogs will be plentiful.
