I’ve noticed several newcomers to this lifestyle tend to get confused about what they can eat or get bored with just eating the same old thing over and over and then there’s some that just don’t have much imagination around food and in the kitchen.

Well this is a thread for everyone to post what they eat each day.

It doesn’t matter if it’s something you eat day in and day out or if it’s something that’s unique but still in the spectrum of carnivore, post it up. It may help inspire someone to stick with their diet plan and reach their goals by introducing something new to their diet.

So, What did you eat today?

Lunch to go for a field trip:

Smoked deviled eggs. Smegle meat (leftover rare steak cut into strips). Several string cheese. One slice bacon

Dinner: Smoked Chuck pot roast in onion gravy. Plus smeegled deli meat and American cheese slice.

Yesterday we threw a graduation party for my son, and we had about 100 people in attendance whom we fed.

We had a meat and cheese tray. ✔️
We had baked chicken ✔️
We had an italian baked chicken (it was lemon and herb and absolutely delicious) ✔️
We had a fruit tray. (passable)
We also had a salad bowl. (less passable due to ranch dressing).

I partook of the above.

We also served...

Mac n Cheese. 👎
Rigatoni. 👎
Pizza. 👎
Cupcakes, cookies, and a cake. 👎

I did not partake of those.

Congrats on the graduation. Both to you and yours.

I am curious what the natto tastes like and where do you source it?

I went thru probably 10 different brands and found the CLEANEST

I could find. It comes with a soy packet and mustard packet which

you don't necessarily need to use .

Mine contains a slight amount of sugar but benefits of lowering bp and upping

my testosterone vs 2mg sugar/ day I'll roll the dice.

It's an acquired taste possibly, it's just the VISIBLE characteristics it takes for most to overcome.

Good natto is slightly pungent but definitely not overwhelming taste.
I like eating it with my eggs like a condiment.

Typically we find this in asian grocery stores like chinese/vietnamese sometimes korean.

Another option as a supplement

Started the day with steak and eggs

and finished with

Smoked salmon and L-rueteri yogurt

And lots of water all day long. Working outside this morning, splitting and stacking firewood And then sittin' on my arse in the hot wisconsin sun making free vitamin D (85' Finally arrived 🤣) we are supposed to hit low 90's this weekend and I can hardly wait. I do my best in the HEAT even with MS. Most MS'ers melt in the heat but I am an odd one for sure.

Yes as a supplement and IMO if it's synthetic aka man made there can be HIDDEN junk in these.

For myself I find it easier to trust fermented soybeans in 50 g vs man made nonsense in a pill.

Had powerballs for dinner tonight!

2 pounds of ground beef (I used the wagyu burger from Costco) 1 Egg. 1 pack of bacon fried up and chopped. Mix the egg, ground beef and bacon together. The make baseball sized balls. I then smoked them on my weber kettle at 240 degrees until internal temp was at 160. They are delicious!!

Ok lemme ask you how you find that weber kettle for smoking? I may be in the market for somethin a bit fancier than my pellet grill 🤣

Amazing! Temp holds great and adjustment is super easy with bottom and top vents. I did poor mans brisket (chuck roast) a few weeks ango and it turned out great! I had a Kamado smoker a while back and I find it to perform just as well.

Plus it works great for steaks and doing reverse sear. I love it!

I posted as an option for those of us that can't locate nor want to eat natto. I've never tried it but heard it's not very good, taste or texture wise.
