What Did You Eat Today?

I’ve noticed several newcomers to this lifestyle tend to get confused about what they can eat or get bored with just eating the same old thing over and over and then there’s some that just don’t have much imagination around food and in the kitchen.

Well this is a thread for everyone to post what they eat each day.

It doesn’t matter if it’s something you eat day in and day out or if it’s something that’s unique but still in the spectrum of carnivore, post it up. It may help inspire someone to stick with their diet plan and reach their goals by introducing something new to their diet.

So, What did you eat today?

Interesting. Have you tried baking small, thin squares of cheddar in the oven until they are crisp? They are like crackers.

Oh yeah that's really good sometimes tbh.

Usually I microwave cheese for it's speed tho tbh.

Anyway today's meal:

5 eggs fried in butter and 8 fried bacon slices.

Fancied a few eggs fried in butter and a fried bacon slice.

Pretty proud of this.

No microwave was used.

Tasted amazing.

I can never seem to remember to take pictures.

We went to West Virginia to ride the Hatfield and McCoy trails/Outlaw trails. My wife pre-cooked the meals for me on Wednesday evening. It would have been a great picture of a nice spread.

2 ribeyes, about 12 big hamburger patties, a pound of bacon, maybe a 1/2 pound of homemade sausage and 8 boiled eggs.

Thursday from 8AM til 3:30 AM I ate a 1/2 pound of bacon, 2 eggs and 4 hamburger patties.

Friday morning from 10:30AM til midnight I ate 2 eggs, a 1/2 pound of sausage, and 4 hamburger patties.

Saturday I ate 2 eggs, two hamburger patties and two big ribeyes from 9AM til midnight. I did eat an amazing hamburger topped with bacon and cheese at the Outlaw Biker Bar. I am sure it was cooked in some sort of vegetable oil. Maybe it was I was tired, wet and hungry, not sure, but it was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.

Sunday morning I finished the two last two burgers on the ride home.

A different topic but I found it very easy to eat what I took while the others in our group ate from the local restaurants, sandwiches, snacks and of course, all the beer they drank. They were actually very considerate asking if I minded stopping with them to eat at a pizza joint. Good group of guys. (I will admit, although it was not a craving, nor did I feel like I was going to succumb, but that may have been the best smelling pizza ever. I told the guys if I ever decided to "give carbs a go" we would ride to West Virginia and his that pizza joint. LOL

I will post a couple pics on the other thread. Still wish I had snapped a photo of the spread.

A King's Meal - 15 eggs fried in butter and 500g fried mince meat.

I'm stuffed.

So delicious but wow the meat sweats are insane.

Feels amazing.

6 bomboclat eggs and 8 slices of bacon.

Simply delicious.

Sadly I ran out of butter and the only thing we had left was stork "butter".

Turns out it is sunflower oil margarine.

My meal for today was a beef jerky stick, tuna, 3 pieces gouda cheese, and some low-calorie crackers. I am trying to get it back together

Nothin beats catching your supper. 10.6 pound blue cat.

IMG_3516.jpeg

Two big beautiful filets and a bunch of belly meat.

IMG_3517.jpeg

Egg washed, coated in pork rind panko and deep fried in tallow. Heart attack style.

First batch done and more to go.

Good eats right there folks. Fresh from lake to table in just a few hours.

Geezy don't laugh, what is belly meat from a fish, and that's a nice catch, send me some.🤣

You can do it.

All of the above is Bob-approved (lol) except for those crackers. Eat them till they're gone and then don't buy anymore, lol.

For that crunch, if your keto or still migrating towards carnivore -> Quest Protein Chips are alright, but way too expensive. For a pure carnivore, pork rinds is what most of us turn to for that crunch. And I will eat just about any flavor of pork rinds too because I'm not a purist.

It’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s the belly of the fish. Large catfish like that have big belly’s where there’s a good deal of meat.

I've had chicken the last 3 days, because we bought it in bulk and it needed to be eaten.

And I've actually gone UP on the scale. Nothing drastic. But I've said several times in the past that when I eat chicken, or lean meat with insufficient fat, I tend to gain weight.

I haven’t. Didn’t know it was a thing. I’d try it though.

I'm from Switzerland, here we say: "everything is good in pork" there's a lot of fun part to eat, ears, cheeks, tongue, foots, tail and a lot more!

On the pic below we have some calf's head, as you can see the parts are not very uniform, a bit of everything you will find in a head 😅

Who's eating pork muzzle? 🤤

I have not. But I just looked it up and from what I read it is rich in collagen and popular in southern Europe.

6 bomboclat eggs fried in butter and 4 slices of bacon.

Classic.

Dont worry that's just a rabbit... 😅

20261021_105523.jpg

Talking of rabbit, do you already heard of rabbit starvation?

It make me want to do a little advise... but first: Im new on these forums and I want to specify that all my post on this thread are only meat I have cooked but definitely not my complete meal, I eat astonishing quantity of butter (always cold, i love to spread it on my meat or even eat it alone) i also eat lots of eggs and cheese. So get back to the advise I wanted to share... I was for long on the reddit carnivore community, i dont know yet if people have more knowledge here.. so lot of people there sharing their meal and are just eating f*cking lean, this is really dangerous, we cannot live on proteins, and actually you can even be poisoned of it if you only get it, the famous rabbit starvation I named before... even if you are a pot of lard who could live on his fat for weeks or months, you cannot do this! If you want to fast you can but at the time you eat you need a good ration between prots and fat, otherwise you will be confronted to lot of issues soon. So enjoy your life eat a lot of fat meat, and eat every meat you want, you need to enjoy this diet so if you want lean meat eat it buy be sure to add lot of fat (butter, tallow, lard) and smile, that's why we choosed this diet to get back our smile and kick out the depressive state that carbs brought into us at each meals! 😁
