I’ve noticed several newcomers to this lifestyle tend to get confused about what they can eat or get bored with just eating the same old thing over and over and then there’s some that just don’t have much imagination around food and in the kitchen.

Well this is a thread for everyone to post what they eat each day.

It doesn’t matter if it’s something you eat day in and day out or if it’s something that’s unique but still in the spectrum of carnivore, post it up. It may help inspire someone to stick with their diet plan and reach their goals by introducing something new to their diet.

So, What did you eat today?

Later in the day I stopped at a local meat market and got some homemade beef jerky. I'm betting it isn't pure, though. It's hard to find beef jerky that isn't made with some sort of sugar brine or glazing.

I haven’t had a jerky since I became carnivore because of that. The two main things I look for in processed meats is sugar and soy. Neither of which I want. I have found some meat sticks (Chomps) at Wally World that have no sugar or soy in them.

thats usually what I get. some times if I'm out I'll sacrifice up to 5g of carbs and a few grams of sugar. rather than not eat I think eating any of it as a last resort can work

Homemade liverwurst roll ups.

Of course that wasn’t nearly enough so I fried up the skin from the rooster I killed yesterday for chicken cracklings and ate some of the meat drenched in brown butter gravy.

My wife has a coworker who has 38 hens that get to roam around freely, and he gets about 38 eggs per day. We've been buying from him lately. You can tell the difference between local eggs and store bought eggs.

I have about 96 eggs in my kitchen  from my hens. they so about a dozen  a day. I can't even eat store bought eggs even England's best or the cage free ones they don't really taste like anything to me. glad you found an egg source

Day 25!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, good afternoon or good evening wherever you are in the world!

To start my meal today I ate some raw buffalo meat. I loved it. Maybe more than the way I am cooking the meat.

To follow I ate some cooked buffalo meat, a lot of liver, some heart and kidney topped with runny egg yolk and a little egg 'mush' on the side.

I was truly full by the end of it.

I plan to make a bone broth later today using the cut up bones which I got from the butcher earlier today.

Today I ate some uncooked buffalo meat. I have decided to stop cooking the meat for now as I am preferring the uncooked taste.

I also ate some liver, a little heart and kidney all cooked in buffalo fat and a little bit of ghee. I topped it with egg yolk.

Irrespective of how it might look, it was very appetizing!

At the beginning of my carnivore journey I thought that I would be sticking to eating eggs only. Now I am loving my butchers and the meat that I am buying from them.

I am so glad to be on this journey.

I am not sure what it is but nothing tastes good to me and I do the same, just not eat anything which is not good either.

There can actually be some benefits to extended fasting. Some people intentionally schedule 24, 48, or 72 hour fasts every couple weeks, monthly, etc. The longest one I pulled off was 40 hours, from Friday's dinner to Sunday's breakfast.

I fancy doing it again, but I like to eat, lol.
